In Jacksonville, Fla., Jackson Kowar allowed one run over five innings as Florida nipped Florida State Tuesday evening. Kowar (3-0) gave up five hits and one walk with four strikeouts. Brady Singer surrendered two hits and one unearned run in three innings with three punchouts before Shaun Anderson retired the side in order in the ninth with two strikeouts for his fourth save. Mike Rivera had a two-run homer in the second to put the Gators (24-3) ahead for good. Cal Raleigh went deep in the first for the Seminoles (18-6), who stranded seven.
Pepperdine 6, No. 16 UC Santa Barbara 2
In Malibu, Calif., Pepperdine broke a 2-2 tie with three in the seventh against UCSB. Matt Crowder went 3 for 4 with one run, while Matt Gelalich (1 for 3, 2 BB) and Austin Bernard (1 for 2, 2B, BB, RBI) both scored twice for the Waves (11-12). Max Green (1-0, 3.2 IP, 2 H, BB, K) earned the victory in relief, while Kiko Garcia retired the final two hitters to record his first save. Josh Adams went 2 for 2 with one RBI for the Gauchos (18-5).
No. 1 Texas A&M 7, Houston 2
In Houston, Nick Banks was a triple short of the cycle, going 3 for 4 with two runs and two RBI, as Texas A&M took care of Houston. Banks had a two-run homer to cap a four-run first for the Aggies, who have won 25 consecutive midweek games. Hunter Melton and J.B. Moss also had three hits for Texas A&M, with Moss going deep for the victors. Clay Casey went 1 for 2 with two walks for the Cougars (16-8).
No. 8 North Carolina 10, Davidson 2
In Chapel Hill, N.C., Brandon Riley reached base six times by going 4 for 4 with two walks, two doubles and three RBI as North Carolina downed Davidson. The Tar Heels (20-4) erased a two-run deficit with six runs in the fifth. Cody Roberts drove in two for UNC. Brett Daniels (2-0, 2.2 IP, H, 3 K) earned the win in relief, while Cole Aker fanned five of the six hitters he faced. Brian Fortier (2 for 4) had a two-run single in the first for the Wildcats (14-11).

In Berkeley, Calif., Aaron Knapp had a three-run triple to highlight a five-run fourth as Cal rallied to knock off USF. The Dons (8-19) led 4-0 before the Bears (15-6) scored five in the fourth and two in the fifth. Preston Grand Pre had two RBI, while Brett Cumberland (2 for 4) and Brian Celsi (2 for 4) both homered for Cal. Jeff Bain (2-1, 3 IP, 3 H, R, BB, 4 K) earned the win in relief, while Erik Martinez (1.1 IP, H, K) registered his seventh save. Nico Giarratano went 2 for 5 with a homer and two runs for USF.
