For the first time this season, someone other than Florida sits in first in the CBI Composite Poll.

Texas A&M went 3-1 last week and moved up one place to No. 1 in this week’s poll. The Aggies beat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and took two of three from LSU. TAMU was first in four poll and third in the other.

The Gators went 2-2 and dropped to second. UF defeated Florida Atlantic before dropping two of three at Kentucky. Florida was first in one poll, second in two polls and third in the other two.

Miami went 4-0 and rose one spot to third. The Hurricanes handled Bethune-Cookman before sweeping a three-game set from Clemson. Miami is second in two polls, third in one poll and fourth in the other two.

Vanderbilt went 3-1 and rose three places to fourth. The Commodores lost at Middle Tennessee before sweeping a three-game series at Missouri. Vandy was third in one poll, fourth in two polls and sixth in the other two polls.

South Carolina had a 3-0 week and climbed nine spots to fifth. The Gamecocks swept a three-game set at Ole Miss. South Carolina is second in one poll, fifth in one poll, sixth in two polls and seventh in the other poll.

There are eight teams in the poll from the SEC, seven from the ACC, two from the Pac-12, and single entries from the Big 12, Big West and Conference USA.
