In Oxford, Miss., Brady Bramlett fanned seven in 5.1 innings as Ole Miss won the SEC series lid-lifter against Kentucky. Bramlett (7-2) surrendered seven hits, two walks and one run. Wyatt Short struck out two of the three batters he faced in a hitless ninth for his 10th save. Colby Bortles went 2 for 3 with one RBI for the Rebels (15-10, 37-13), who scored all three runs with two outs. Luke Becker and Evan White both had three hits for the Wildcats (13-12, 29-21).
Wofford 7, ETSU 6
In Spartanburg, S.C., Derek Hirsch had a two-run single to cap a four-run bottom of the ninth as Wofford rallied past ETSU to kick off their Southern Conference series. Brett Hash (1 for 2, 2 RBI) and Mack Nathanson (2 for 4, 3B, 2 R, 2 RBI) both homered for the Terriers (10-9, 28-23). David Ehmen (1-0, 3 IP, H, 3 K) earned the victory for Wofford. Trey York (1 for 2, 2 BB) and Hagen Owenby (2 for 4, 2 RBI) both went deep for the Bucs (9-10, 22-26).
Davidson 5, Dayton 3
In Dayton, Ohio, Alec Acosta drove in two, while Jake Sidwell had two hits, including a homer, and two runs as Davidson took the Atlantic 10 series opener at Dayton. Clark Beeker (8-3) went the distance with nine hits, three runs, two walks and three strikeouts to record the win for the Wildcats (10-9, 24-22). Nick Ryan had three hits, including a double, and one run for the Flyers (5-14, 16-33).
St. Bonaventure 4, Saint Louis 2
In St. Bonaventure, N.Y., Brandon Schlimm tossed a five-hitter as St. Bonaventure rallied past Saint Louis to begin their Atlantic 10 series. The Bonnies (9-10, 24-19-1) trailed 2-1 before Aaron Phillips had a two-run homer to cap a three-run eighth. Schlimm (7-4) allowed two hits with one walk and seven strikeouts. Josh Bunselmeyer went 2 for 4 with a double and a run for the Billikens (10-9, 20-29).
