In Nashville, Tenn., Nick Solak went 3 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI as Louisville powered past Vanderbilt. Danny Rosenbaum and Drew Ellis (3 RBI) also went deep for the Cardinals (39-10). Kade McClure (10-0, 5 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 8 K) earned the victory, while Zack Burdi worked two hitless innings with three strikeouts to register his seventh save. Ethan Paul had two hits, including a homer, and four RBI for the Commodores (36-13).
No. 1 Florida 11, USF 4
In Gainesville, Fla., Jonathan India had an RBI double to snap a 4-4 tie and spark a six-run seventh as Florida downed USF. India went 2 for 4 with three runs, while Peter Alonso (3 for 4, 2B, 2 R) and Deacon Liput (1 for 2, 3B) both drove in three for the Gators (41-8). Kevin Merrell went 3 for 4 with a triple, a run and an RBI for the Bulls (21-27).
Jacksonville 6, No. 5 Florida State 2
In Jacksonville, Fla., Parker Perez had two doubles and two RBI as Jacksonville tripped up FSU. The Dolphins (29-17) trailed 1-0 before plating three in the second and three more in the fifth. Franco Guardascione also drove in two for JU. Jeff Tanner (3-0, 6 IP, 6 H, R, 3 BB, 3 K) recorded the win. Cal Raleigh had two hits, including a double, and one RBI for the Seminoles (32-14).
CSU Bakersfield 5, No. 20 UC Santa Barbara 4
In Santa Barbara, Calif., CSUB scored three in the eighth and two in the ninth to rally past UCSB. Chance Gusbeth went 2 for 3 with a double, a triple and three RBI, while Ryan Grotjohn had three hits and two runs for the Roadrunners (12-34). Adam Coats (1-0, 1.2 IP, H, R, BB, K) picked up the win, while Gusbeth pitched a hitless ninth for his third save. Austin Bush homered for the Gauchos (31-13-1).
