Texas remained in first, while Arkansas climbed to second in the latest CBI Composite Poll.

The Longhorns had a 1-3 week, beating Prairie View A&M before dropping three at No. 7 Arkansas. UT is first in two polls, second in two polls and third in the other.

After the sweep of Texas, Arkansas moved up to second. The Razorbacks are first in one poll, second in two polls, third in one and seventh in the other.

LSU went 2-2 and dropped one place to third. The Tigers topped Southeastern Louisiana before losing two of three at Texas A&M. LSU is third in two polls, fourth in two polls and sixth in the other two polls.

Georgia had a 4-0 week and bumped up one spot to fourth. The Bulldogs beat Kennesaw State before sweeping a three-game set at Missouri. UGA is first in two polls, sixth in two polls and seventh in the other.

North Carolina went 2-0 and dropped one place to fifth. The Tar Heels defeated George Mason and Queens. UNC is fourth in three polls and fifth in the other two.

Oklahoma and Troy entered the CBI Composite Poll, while Alabama and Louisville dropped out.

There are nine teams from the SEC in this week’s CBI Composite Poll. There are four teams from the ACC, two from both the Big 10 and Sun Belt, and single entries from the Big 12, Big West and independent.
