Tennessee maintained the top spot, while North Carolina jumped six places to fifth in the latest CBI Composite Poll.

The Volunteers went 3-1, defeating Queens before taking two of three at Vanderbilt. UT is first in all five national polls.

Kentucky took two of three at Florida and moved up three places to second. The Wildcats are second in three polls and third in the other two.

Arkansas won two of three at home from No. 15 Mississippi State to bump up one spot to third. The Razorbacks are second in two polls and third in the other three.

Texas A&M had a 2-2 week and dropped two places to fourth. The Aggies beat Rice before dropping two of three at Ole Miss. TAMU is fourth in two polls, fifth in two polls and eighth in the other.

UNC went 4-0, with a win over Campbell before sweeping a three-game set from Louisville. The Tar Heels are fourth in one poll, fifth in two polls, sixth in one poll and seventh in the other.

NC State returned to the CBI Composite Poll, while South Carolina dropped out.

There are seven teams from the ACC in this week’s CBI Composite Poll. There are six from the SEC, including all of the top four. There are two teams from the Big 12 and Big West, and single entries from the American, Missouri Valley and Pac-12.
