UCLA remains the unanimous No. 1 and North Carolina sits at No. 2 in the latest CBI Composite Poll.

The Bruins had their 27-game win streak snapped against UCSB before sweeping a three-game Big Ten set from Minnesota. UCLA is first in all five national polls.

The Tar Heels had a 3-1 week to bump up one spot to second. UNC beat UNCW prior to taking two of three from second-ranked Georgia Tech in ACC action. The Tar Heels are second in all five national polls.

The Yellow Jackets went 2-2 and dropped one place to third. GT defeated Georgia Southern before dropping two of three at UNC. The Jackets are third in three polls and fourth in the other two.

Texas was 3-1 and stayed in fourth. The Longhorns topped TAMUCC before taking two of three from No. 12 Alabama in SEC play. UT is third in two polls and fourth in the other three.

Georgia had a 3-1 week to rise one place to fifth. The Bulldogs beat ETSU before winning two of three at No. 18 Arkansas in SEC action. UGA is fifth in four polls and seventh in the other.

Nebraska, Southern Miss, Boston College and Ole Miss entered this week’s CBI Composite Poll, while USC, Oregon, Florida and Arkansas dropped out.

There are eight teams from the SEC in this week’s CBI Composite Poll. There are five teams from the ACC, two from the Big Ten, Big 12 and Sun Belt, and one independent.
