In Los Angeles, Roman Martin went 2 for 2 with a homer, two walks, two runs and two RBI as UCLA completed the Big Ten sweep of Minnesota. Martin had an RBI single to cap a two-run first and a dinger in the third as the Bruins (21-0, 36-3) took an early 3-0 lead. The Gophers (5-13, 22-17) got on the board in the fourth and Weber Neels (2 for 4, 2 R) went deep in the sixth as the visitors pulled within one at 3-2. Will Gasparino had a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth to complete the scoring.

In Chapel Hill, N.C., Caden Gaudette and Mason Patel combined for 6.1 innings of scoreless relief as GT salvaged the ACC series finale at UNC. Gaudette (3-2) pitched 2.1 innings with one hit, one walk and one strikeout to pick up the win. Patel pitched the final four frames with three hits, one walk and two punchouts to notch his sixth save. Jarren Advincula went 2 for 5 with one run and one RBI, while Drew Burress had two hits, including a double, and scored twice for the Yellow Jackets (16-5, 32-7). Jake Schaffner had three hits and two runs for the Tar Heels (15-6, 33-7-1).

In Austin, Texas, Myles Upchurch and Ashton Crowther combined on a four-hitter as Alabama avoided the SEC sweep at UT. Upchurch (5-2) pitched the first 5.1 innings with one hit, three walks and four strikeouts to earn the victory. Crowther worked 3.2 innings with three hits, one run and two punchouts to record his first save. Jason Torres went 2 for 3 with a walk and one RBI for the Crimson Tide (9-9, 28-13). In Conway, S.C., Wills Maginnis had a bases-clearing double to highlight a six-run eighth as GSU salvaged the Sun Belt series finale at CCU. Will Bartkoski (3-0) tossed five scoreless innings of relief with one hit, two walks and three strikeouts for the Panthers (8-10, 20-21). Colby Thorndyke, Jordan Taylor (1 for 3, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Brice Estep (1 for 3, 2 RBI) went deep for the Chanticleers (15-3, 28-11).

In Baton Rouge, La., Caden Sorrell and Chris Hacopian each homered as TAMU finished off an SEC sweep at LSU. Sorrell had a solo shot in the first to start the scoring and Hacopian’s two-run shot in the third gave the Aggies (12-5, 31-7) a 4-0 edge. Cade Arrambide went deep in the eighth for the Tigers (6-12, 23-18).
