Pac-12 holds 4 of top 6 spots in CBI Composite Poll (4/1)

UCLA continues to hold the top spot, one of four Pac-12 teams in the top six, in the latest CBI Composite Poll.

The Bruins had a 3-1 week, including a series win at USC. UCLA is first in five polls and third in the other.

Stanford rose one spot to second. The Cardinal swept a three-game set at Washington State. Stanford is second in five polls and fourth in the other.

NC State went 4-1, including an ACC series win over Virginia, to bump up one place to third. The Wolfpack is first in one poll, third in two polls, fourth in one poll and fifth in the other two.

Vanderbilt had a 3-1 week, including an SEC series win over Tennessee, to climb one spot to fourth. The Commodores are third in two polls, fourth in two polls and fifth in the other two.

Oregon State went 3-1, with a series sweep at Washington, to move up two places to fifth. The Beavers are third in one poll, fourth in one poll, sixth in three polls and seventh in the other.

Arizona State swept a three-game set from Arizona and rose three spots to sixth. The Sun Devils are second, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and 10th in the polls.

Clemson and UC Irvine moved into the poll this week, while Coastal Carolina and Florida State dropped out.

There are eight teams from the SEC in this week’s poll. There are four teams from both the Pac-12 and the ACC. There are two teams from the Big 12, and single entries from the American and Big West.
