Oregon State stays No. 1 in CBI Composite Poll (3/19)

Following a 3-0 week, Oregon State maintained its hold on the top spot in the CBI Composite Poll.

The Beavers won a three-game Pac-12 set at Cal. OSU was first in all five national polls.

Florida went 3-1 and stayed at No. 2. The Gators beat sixth-ranked Florida State before taking two of three at South Carolina in SEC action. UF is second in four polls and fourth in the other.

Stanford did not play last week due to exams and held at No. 3. The Cardinal are second in one poll and third in the other four.

Arkansas had an impressive 5-0 week at home and climbed six spots to No. 4. The Razorbacks beat Texas twice before sweeping a three-game SEC set from fourth-ranked Kentucky. Arkansas is fourth in four polls and seventh in the other.

Auburn had a 4-1 week and rose seven places to fifth. The Tigers topped Georgia Tech and Memphis before taking two of three from eighth-ranked Texas A&M in SEC action.

Duke moved into the poll at No. 19. TCU dropped out of the poll.

There are eight teams from the SEC in this week’s poll, including five of the top seven spots in the poll. There are five teams from the ACC, three from the Pac-12, and single entries from the American, Big Ten, Big 12 and Conference USA.
