Wake Forest continues to hold down the top spot, while Oregon State moved into the Top 5 in the latest CBI Composite Poll.
The Demon Deacons put together a 4-0 week, with a win at North Carolina A&T, two home wins over Binghamton and one over Elon. WFU is first in all five national polls.
LSU also went 4-0 and remained in second. The Tigers won at Rice before topping Texas, Louisiana and Texas State in Minute Maid Park in Houston. LSU was second in three polls and third in the other two.
Arkansas was 4-0 and stayed in third. The Razorbacks beat Grambling before sweeping a three-game set from Murray State. Arkansas was second in two polls, third in two polls and fourth in the other.
TCU went 5-0 to stay unbeaten at 12-0 and hold down fourth. The Horned Frogs beat Wichita State, Arizona, Arizona State and USC twice. TCU was third in one poll, fourth in one poll and fifth in the other three.
Oregon State swept a four-game series from North Danota State to climb one spot to fifth. The Beavers were fourth in one poll, fifth in two polls and sixth in the other two polls.
DBU entered this week’s poll, while Texas dropped out.
There are nine teams from the SEC in this week’s CBI Composite Poll, including six of the top nine spots. There are six teams from the ACC, two from the Big 12, and single entries from the American, Conference USA and Pac-12.
