Following a 4-0 week, Arkansas moved up two spots to No. 1 in the latest CBI Composite Poll.
The Razorbacks beat Central Arkansas and swept a three-game home set from McNeese. Arkansas was first in four of the national polls and second in the other.
LSU had a 3-1 week to remain in second. The Tigers won at SLU and took two of three at home from Xavier. LSU was second in four polls and third in the other.
Oregon State swept a four-game home series from CSUN and rose two places to third. The Beavers were first in one poll, three in two polls and four in the other two.
Texas A&M went 5-0 to stay undefeated and jumped up three places to fourth. The Aggies won at Texas, topped Texas Southern and took a three-game set from Rhode Island at home. Texas A&M was third in one poll, fourth in three polls and fifth in the other.
Duke had a 3-1 week and climbed seven spots to fifth. The Blue Devils downed App State before taking two of three at previous No. 1 Wake Forest to kick off ACC play. Duke was third in one poll, fifth in one, sixth in one and seventh in the other two.
The Demon Deacons dropped from No. 1 to No. 7 after their 2-2 week. Coastal Carolina entered the poll, while Texas Tech fell out.
The SEC has nine teams in the CBI Composite Poll, including three of the top five and six in the top 11. There are six teams from the ACC and single entries from the American, Big 12, Big South, Conference USA and Pac-12.
