Following a 3-0 week, LSU remains No. 1 in the latest CBI Composite Poll.

The Tigers swept three home games from Milwaukee over opening weekend. The Tigers are first in two polls and second in the other two. The USA Today Coaches Poll did not update following this past weekend, so just four national polls are used this week in the CBI Composite Poll.

UCLA took two of three at home from UC San Diego and held second. The Bruins are first in two polls, third in one and fifth in the other.

Georgia Tech swept a three-game home set from Bowling Green to stay in third. The Yellow Jackets are second in one poll, fourth in two polls and fifth in the other.

Mississippi State secured three wins at home against Hofstra to bump up one spot to fourth. The Bulldogs are third in one poll, fourth in one poll, fifth in one poll and sixth in the other.

Texas took three at home from UC Davis and moved down one spot to fifth. The Longhorns are second in one poll, third in one poll, seventh in one poll and eighth in the other.

Oklahoma and Southern Miss both entered the poll, while Louisville and Vanderbilt dropped out.

There are nine teams from the SEC in this week’s CBI Composite Poll. There are six from the ACC, two from the Sun Belt, one from the Big Ten, one from the Big 12 and one independent.
