Eddie King Jr. delivered a sacrifice fly to center in the bottom of the ninth as Louisville eliminated Oregon State on Tuesday afternoon at the 2025 College World Series.

King had an RBI single in the first and Jake Munroe smacked a two-run homer in the third as the Cardinals (42-23) took a 3-0 advantage.

Jacob Krieg launched a two-run dinger in the top of the fourth as the Beavers (48-16-1) pulled within one at 3-2.

Zion Rose went deep in the bottom of the frame to extend UL’s lead to 4-2.

OSU added a run in the sixth before the Cards tallied single runs in the sixth and seventh to own a 6-3 edge.

Aiva Arquette homered in the top of the ninth and added a pair on a fielder’s choice and an error to level the score at 3-3.

Alex Alicea led off the bottom of the ninth with a walk and went to second when Lucas Moore reached on catcher’s interference. Matt Klein reached on an error on a sacrifice bunt to load the bases. After a strikeout, King sent a fly ball to center that brought home Alicea with the game-winner.
