Isaiah Campbell pitched brilliantly into the sixth, while Casey Martin went 4 for 5 with three runs and one RBI as Arkansas edged UF to earn a spot in the CWS championship series. The Razorbacks are in search of their first national championship. Arkansas played for the title in 1979, falling 2-1 to Augie Garrido and Cal State Fullerton. Campbell retired the first 14 batters he faced before finishing with 5.1 innings pitched with two hits, two runs, no walks and eight strikeouts. Matt Cronin tossed two scoreless frames with one hit and two punchouts to record the save. The Razorbacks started the scoring in the top of the first as Martin had a one-out single and scored on a base hit by Luke Bonfield (2 for 5, 2 RBI). In the third, Martin had a leadoff single and came home on a base hit by Dominic Fletcher (2 for 5, 2 RBI) to give Arkansas a 2-0 lead. Martin had a leadoff double in the fifth and scored on a groundout by Bonfield. Fletcher followed with a home run to right to give the Hogs a 4-0 lead. Austin Langworthy had the first hit for the Gators, a two-out single in the fifth. He scored on a base hit by Brady Smith to give UF its first run. Blake Reese was hit by a pitch and scored on a wild pitch as the Gators pulled within two at 4-2. Arkansas answered in the sixth. Jared Gates had a leadoff single and scored on Martin’s fourth hit of the game to make it 5-2.

No. 3 Oregon State 12, Mississippi State 2

Adley Rutschman had a two-run single to highlight a five-run second as OSU mauled MSU to set up a winner-take-all game on Saturday for a spot in the CWS championship series. Hunter Stovall had an RBI double in the top of the first for the Bulldogs before Trevor Larnach (3 for 4, 2 R, 3 RBI) tied it with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the frame. The Beavers went ahead for good with a five-spot in the second. Zak Taylor had a two-run single in a four-run seventh for OSU. Leadoff hitter Nick Madrigal went 3 for 5 with a double, two runs and two RBI for the victors. Brandon Eisert allowed one hit in 5.1 scoreless innings of relief with one walk and three strikeouts to record the victory. Stoval finished with two hits and two RBI for MSU.
