Championship Game: #2 VCU 10, #7 Richmond 7
Will Carlone went 4 for 4 with a grand slam and seven RBI as VCU outscored UR to claim its second straight A-10 title and third overall. Carlone had a two-run single in the top of the first, a grand slam in the third to give the Rams (40-18) a 6-3 advantage, and an RBI single to cap a three-run sixth as VCU took the lead for good. Tyler Locklear went 3 for 4 with a dinger and three runs for the Rams. Chase Hungate (6-4, 4.2 IP, 3 H, 1 UE, 3 K) recorded the win in relief, while Jack Masloff had a 1-2-3 ninth with one strikeout for his fifth save. Dominic Toso went 4 for 5 with a double, two runs and two RBI for the Spiders (30-26).
ASUN (Fort Myers, Fla.)
Championship Game: #3 Kennesaw State 10, #1 Liberty 6
Tyler Simon went 4 for 5 with a homer and three runs as KSU downed LU to capture the ASUN championship. The Owls (35-26) scored in three of the first four innings in building a 5-0 cushion. Spencer Hanson doubled twice, scored two and knocked in one for KSU. Cameron Foster was 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI for the Flames (37-21).
Horizon (Dayton, Ohio)
Championship Game: #1 Wright State 24, #2 Oakland 0
Sammy Sass smacked three home runs and drove in nine as WSU rolled past OU to take the Horizon title. The Raiders (30-25) put up crooked numbers in four of the first seven innings, with eight in the sixth and seven in the seventh. Zane Harris had three doubles, five runs and five RBI. Cam Post and Peter Jelenic had hits for the Golden Grizzlies (31-27).
Ohio Valley (Lexington, Ky.)
Championship Game: #2 Southeast Missouri 5, #1 Belmont 4 (10)
SEMO tied it in the ninth and put up three in the 10th to edge Belmont for its second straight and fifth overall OVC crown. Trailing 2-1, Andrew Keck cranked a leadoff homer in the top of the ninth to level score. Jevon Mason had a two-run homer in the top of the 10th and Tyler Wilber also went deep to give the Redhawks (37-20) a 5-2 cushion. The Bruins (39-20) scored twice in the bottom of the 10th, but stranded the tying run as the game ended. Guy Lipscomb and Brodey Heaton both had three hits for Belmont.
