#5 North Carolina advances to College World Series
UNC scored one in the eighth and two in the ninth to rally past USC and win the Chapel Hill Super Regional. Adrian Lopez scored on a balk in the top of the first for the Trojans (48-18). Owen Hull had an RBI double in the third for the Tar Heels (50-12-1) to tie the game at 1-1. Kevin Takeuchi homered in the fourth and Andrew Lamb went deep an inning later as USC took a 3-1 advantage. With two away in the bottom of the eighth, Owen Hull doubled and came home on a double by Macon Winslow as UNC pulled within one at 3-2. The Trojans put two on in the top of the ninth but stranded the pair. With one away in the bottom of the ninth, Cooper Nicholson fought back from an 0-2 count to draw a walk. Carter French singled through the right side on a 3-2 pitch, sending Nicholson to third. Jake Schaffner delivered a sacrifice fly to level the score at 3-3. Gavin Gallaher drew a walk, sending French to second. Hull doubled to deep left to knock in French with the game-winner. Hull had four doubles, scored once and had two RBI.

#3 Georgia advances to College World Series
Daniel Jackson belted a two-run homer in the top of the 10th as UGA edged MSU to capture the Athens Super Regional. The home Bulldogs (51-12) scored twice in each of the first two innings to take a 4-0 lead. After Kevin Miewski smacked a two-run dinger in the bottom of the second for the visiting Bulldogs (43-19) to cut the deficit in half, UGA tallied single runs in the third, fourth and fifth to take a 7-2 lead. Georgia led 8-4 in the middle of the seventh before Ace Reese, Noah Sullivan and Jacob Parker hit consecutive homers in the bottom of the seventh to make it 8-7. Parker added a two-run dinger in the bottom of the eighth to take a 9-8 lead. Kenny Ishikawa drew a leadoff walk in the top of the ninth and scored on a single by Brennan Hudson as UGA tied it at 9-9. MSU went down in order in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings. In the top of the 10th, Tre Phelps reached on an error and Jackson homered to left to give UGA an 11-9 edge. MSU put two on via walks in the bottom of the 10th but could not plate the equalizer. Kolby Branch finished with a double and two homers for UGA. Justin Byrd (5-2) tossed two scoreless innings with two strikeouts to earn the victory.
