Chapel Hill Regional
#1 North Carolina 4, #2 LSU 3 (10) (LSU eliminated)
Colby Wilkerson had an RBI single in the top of the ninth to tie the game and Alex Madera knocked in the game-winner with a base hit in the 10th as UNC came from behind to nip LSU and win the regional title. The Tar Heels (45-14) put up two in the first before the Tigers (43-23) tallied single runs in each of the first three frames as Jake Brown homered in the second and Jared Jones went deep in the third. Dalton Pence (4-1) tossed 3.2 scoreless innings in relief with one hit, two walks and four strikeouts to pick up the win for UNC.
Greenville Regional
#4 Evansville 6, #1 East Carolina 5 (ECU eliminated)
Mark Shallenberger smacked a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth to erase a 5-3 deficit as EU edged ECU for its first regional title. Max Hansmann (2-1) tossed four innings of scoreless relief with one hit, three walks and one strikeout to earn the victory for the Purple Aces (38-24), while Shane Harris pitched a perfect ninth with two punchouts to record his third save. Ryley Johnson had two hits and scored twice for the Pirates (46-17).
Norman Regional
#3 UConn 7, #1 Oklahoma 1 (OU eliminated)
Gabe Van Emon tossed 7.1 scoreless innings as UConn won at OU to claim the regional crown. Van Emon (3-5) scattered five hits with two walks and two strikeouts. Korey Morton (3-5, 3 RBI) and Maddix Dalena both had two-run homers in the fourth for the Huskies (35-24). Michael Snyder went 3 for 3 with a walk or the Sooners (40-21).
Stillwater Regional
#3 Florida 4, #1 Oklahoma State 2 (OSU eliminated)
Ashton Wilson had a two-run single in the third to put the Gators on top for good as UF won at OSU to claim the regional crown. Jac Caglianone was 2 for 3 with a double and a run for the Gators (32-28). Frank Menendez (1-0, 2.1 IP, 2 H, R, 2 BB, K) registered the win in relief, while Fisher Jameson retired the final 10 batters of the game with four strikeouts to earn his third save. Zach Ehrhard went 1 for 3 with a double, one run and one RBI for the Cowboys (42-19).
Corvallis Regional
#1 Oregon State 11, #2 UC Irvine 6 (UCI eliminated)
Elijah Hainline had a three-run homer to spark a five-run second as OSU outscored UCI to secure the regional title. Dub Gleed capped a four-run first with a three-run dinger as the Anteaters (45-14) took a 4-0 advantage. Hainline’s homer made it a one-run game, while Travis Bazzana added a sacrifice fly and Gavin Turley put the Beavers (45-14) on top with a run-scoring double to make it 5-4.
