Hunter Kopycinski went 3 for 3 with two runs and five RBI, and Ricardo Salinas tossed 7.1 scoreless innings as Rice eliminated SLU to advance to the regional championship game. The Owls (37-23) scored multiple runs in four innings, including four in the second, three in the fourth and six in the fifth. Salinas (9-2) allowed three hits and one walk with four strikeouts. Daniel Midyett had two hits for the Lions (40-21).
Rice snapped a 4-4 tie with three in the fifth and added three more in the seventh to force a winner-take-all game at LSU on Tuesday for the regional title. Eight different Owls (38-23) drove in runs, led by Ryan Chandler (2 for 3) and Blake Fox (1 for 1) with two each. Tristan Gray (2 for 3, 2 BB, 3 R) homered for Rice. Glenn Otto (10-2, 4.1 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 5 K) earned the victory. Jake Fraley and Kramer Robertson both went 4 for 5 with a homer, two runs and two RBI for the Tigers (44-19).

Arizona wins Lafayette Regional
Ryan Aguilar and Louis Boyd both knocked in two as Arizona downed ULL. Cesar Salazar had two doubles and two runs for the Wildcats (41-21). Nathan Bannister (11-2, 7 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 BB, 5 K) earned the win. Joe Robbins had a two-run homer in the eighth for the Ragin’ Cajuns (43-20).
In the second game, Kevin Ginkel and Cameron Ming combined on a five-hitter as Arizona downed ULL to win the Lafayette Regional. Ginkel (4-1) allowed four hits and a run in 5.2 innings with two walks and three strikeouts to record the victory, while Ming gave up one hit in 3.1 innings with five punchouts to notch his first save. The Wildcats (42-21) scored early, putting up two in the first and one in the second. Cody Ramer went 2 for 4 with one RBI for Arizona. Kyle Clement (2 for 3) homered in the fourth for the Ragin’ Cajuns (43-21).

Orlando Garcia ripped a two-run double in the bottom of the sixth to snap a 3-3 tie as Texas Tech edged DBU to advance to the Super Regionals. Garcia finished with two hits and three RBI, while Stephen Smith and Michael Davis both had two hits and two runs for Red Raiders (44-17). Hayden Howard (9-3, 4.2 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 5 K) earned the win in relief. Austin Listi hit a two-run homer in the sixth for the Patriots (44-19).
Nashville

UC Santa Barbara wins Nashville Regional
Austin Bush (3 for 6, 2 R) and Clay Fisher (3 for 6, 2 R, 4 RBI) had three-run homers to highlight a nine-run fourth as UCSB outscored Xavier to reach the Super Regionals for the first time in program history. Joe Record (6-5, 5 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 6 BB, 2 K) registered the victory. Nate Soria (3 for 5) homered and knocked in three for the Musketeers (32-30).
Raleigh

Will Gilbert allowed one run in eight innings of relief as NC State beat Coastal Carolina to set up a winner-take-all game for the regional title. Gilbert (5-1) surrendered five hits and one walk while striking out nine. Evan Mendoza had three hits and three RBI for the Wolfpack (38-21). G.K. Young (3 for 4) homered for the Chanticleers (46-16).
Game 2 was suspended in the top of the ninth with NC State leading 5-3. Coastal Carolina has the bases loaded and one out. Play is scheduled to resume at 2 pm on Tuesday.
