In a game originally scheduled for Friday, begun on Saturday and completed on Sunday saw Rice defeat Southeastern Louisiana. Blake Fox (5-7, 6 IP, 3 H, R, 4 BB, 3 K) registered the victory, while Dane Myers (3 IP, 4 H, R, 2 K) snared his seventh save. Ford Proctor and Connor Teykl both had three hits and one RBI for the Owls (36-22). Brennan Breaud (3 for 4) scored both runs and Ryan Byers (1 for 4) drove in both runs for the Lions (39-20).
Drew Avans went 1 for 4 with one run and one RBI as SLU edged UVU. The Lions (40-20) scored three in the first and held on for the win. Domenick Carlini (8-2, 6 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 K) got the win, while Josh Green (3 IP, H) recorded his fourth save. Spencer Gothberg homered for the Wolverines (37-23).
Greg Deichmann hit an inside-the-park grand slam in the first and Alex Lange fanned 10 in eight innings as LSU downed Rice in a winners’ bracket game. With the bases full in the first, Deichmann hit a liner down the right field line that went under the bullpen bench. The right fielder initially put up his hands to signal the ball dead. He then tried to retrieve the ball, making it live. Deichmann circled the bases, giving the Tigers a 4-0 lead. That was more than enough for Lange (8-3), who allowed five hits, two walks and two runs. Grayson Lewis (2 for 4) homered for the Owls (36-23).
Charlottesville

East Carolina wins Charlottesville Regional
ECU scored four in the third and snapped a 4-4 deadlock with four in the fifth in doubling W&M to win the Charlottesville Regional. Charlie Yorgen (2 for 5, 2 R), Travis Watkins (2 for 4) and Eric Tyler (4 for 4, 2 R) each homered and drove in two for the Pirates (37-21-1). Sam Lanier (2-1, 5 IP, H, BB, 7 K) earned the win in relief. Charley Gould went 3 for 4 with two RBI for the Tribe (31-31).
William & Mary erased a 4-3 deficit with single runs in the sixth and seventh to eliminate defending national champion Virginia. Charley Gould had a leadoff double in the sixth and scored on a base hit by Hunter Smith (2 for 4) as the Tribe (31-30) leveled the score at 4-4. Charles Ameer (2 for 3) smacked a leadoff homer in the seventh to break the tie. Robert White (2-3, 1.1 IP, 3 BB, K) got the win, while Joseph Gaouette (2 IP, 4 H) recorded his 11th save. Daniel Pinero went 3 for 4 with a double, a homer, two runs and two RBI for the Cavaliers (38-22).

Corey Hassel (3 for 5) smacked a grand slam in the fifth as OSU defeated Clemson to claim the regional crown and make its fourth trip to the Super Regionals. Conor Costello had a double, a homer and two RBI for the Cowboys (39-20). Jensen Elliott (9-2, 6 IP, 4 H, R, BB, 8 K) earned the win, while Trey Cobb walked two and fanned four over three hitless frames to record his third save. Chris Okey went 1 for 3 with one RBI for the Tigers (44-20).
Earlier, Weston Wilson went 4 for 4 with a homer and four RBI, Seth Beer homered, scored four runs and drove in three and Chris Okey added a homer, three runs and three RBI as Clemson eliminated Western Carolina. The Tigers pounded out 16 hits, including five homers, in setting up a Regional final against Oklahoma State. Alex Eubanks was the beneficiary of the offensive support and hurled a complete game with nine hits, three runs (one earned) and three strikeouts. Garrett Brown had two hits and a run for the Catamounts.
College Station

Texas A&M wins College Station Regional
Ryne Birk and Joel Davis both drove in two as Texas A&M defeated Minnesota to win its second straight regional title and eighth overall. The Aggies (38-14) scored two in the second and fourth to take control. Turner Larkins (3-0, 5.2 IP, 5 H, R, 3 K) registered the win, while Mark Ecker fanned the final four batters to record his eighth save. Austin Athmann had two hits and drove in both runs for the Gophers (36-22).
Earlier, Austin Athmann went 4 for 4 with two runs and one RBI as Minnesota eliminated WFU. Toby Hanson (3 for 4, R) and Micah Coffey (1 for 5, R) both drove in two for the Gophers (36-21). Gavin Sheets had three hits and two RBI for the Demon Deacons (35-27).

TJ Hopkins knocked in five as South Carolina routed URI. The Gamecocks (44-16) scored in eight of nine innings, including eight in the fifth. DC Arendas went 4 for 4 with three runs and three RBI. Ryan Olmo had two hits, including a homer, for the Rams (31-27).
Tyler Johnson, a reliever for South Carolina, tossed a complete game with five hits and 11 strikeouts as South Carolina forced a winner-take-all game Monday evening against UNC Wilmington. Gene Cone stayed hot in the Regional, going 3 for 4 with two runs and three RBI, and Hunter Taylor had two hits and two RBI for the Gamecocks. Brian Mims hit a solo homer for the Seahawks, who had yet to lose in the Regional.
Coral Gables

Randy Batista delivered a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth as Miami edged LBSU to capture the Coral Gables Regional. The Hurricanes (48-11) led 8-1 after four before the Dirtbags (38-22) put up six in the sixth and tied it with a run in the eighth. Willie Abreu homered and drove in three, while Zack Collins (2 for 3, 2B, 3 R) also went deep for Miami. Alex Muzzi homered and had three RBI for LBSU.
In the first game, Tanner Brown was sharp for eight innings as LBSU felled FAU. Brown (8-4) gave up four hits and three walks while striking out seven. Ty Provencher (1 IP, K) secured his third save. Daniel Jackson homered and drove in four for the Dirtbags (38-21). Gunnar Lambert doubled and scored for the Owls (39-19).

Brian Howard was masterful over eight innings, allowing four hits and striking out nine, and Cam Warner had two hits, including a homer, and three RBI as TCU advanced to the Super Regionals. The Horned Frogs will be making their sixth Super Regional appearance in the past eight seasons. Austin Wade had two hits and two RBI, and Dane Steinhagen went 3 for 5 with two runs for TCU. David Greer drove in the lone run for the Sun Devils.
Earlier, Zach Dixon tossed eight innings with three earned runs and nine strikeouts as Arizona State eliminated Gonzaga. Brian Serven drove in a pair of runs, and Jeremy McCuin came off the bench to deliver a solo homer in his only at-bat for the Sun Devils. Hunter Wells started the Bulldogs and kept them in the game with four runs (three earned) and nine strikeouts in eight innings.

Alex Faedo fanned 10 in eight scoreless innings as Florida whipped Georgia Tech to claim the Gainesville Regional. Faedo (13-1) allowed four hits and walked one. Peter Alonso paced the offense, going 3 for 5 with a double, two runs and three RBI. JJ Schwarz had two hits and drove in a pair for the Gators (50-13). Kel Johnson had three hits for the Yellow Jackets (38-25).
In the first game, Georgia Tech scored twice in the ninth to snap a 5-5 deadlock & eliminate UConn. Joey Bart homered and drove in three, while Tristin English had two hits and two RBI for the Yellow Jackets (38-24). John Toppa doubled and knocked in two for the Huskies (38-25).

Stefan Trosclair went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs and three RBI as UL Lafayette started fast and blew past Arizona in the winners’ bracket. Trosclair had an RBI single in the first, and Brenn Conrad (2 RBI) squeezed in another in the three-run first. Brian Mills had two RBI, and Kyle Clement contributed two hits, three runs and an RBI for the Ragin’ Cajuns. Cody Ramer homered and drove in two for the Wildcats.
Arizona built a 6-2 lead and held on to eliminate SHSU. Alfonso Rivas had a double, a triple and two RBI to lead the Wildcats (40-21). Bobby Dalbec (9-4, 6 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 2 BB, 5 K) earned the win, while Rivas recorded the final two outs for his second save. Bryce Johnson had two hits and two runs for the Bearkats (42-22).

Drew Harrington hurled 7.1 scoreless innings as UL edged WSU to win regional crown. Harrington (12-2) scattered five hits with two walks and five strikeouts. Zack Burdi (1.2 IP, 2 H, R, K) earned his 11th save. Nick Solak went 3 for 4 with a homer and three RBI for the Cardinals (50-12). JD Orr went 2 for 4 with a double and a run for the Raiders (46-17).
In the earlier game, Sean Murphy had two hits and two RBI as WSU eliminated OSU and advanced to the regional finals for the second straight year. Caleb Sampen (9-4, 5 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 K) picked up the win, while Zane Collins (4 IP, H, UE, BB, 2 K) secured his second save. Ronnie Sawson had two hits and one RBI, while Nick Sergakis scored twice for the Buckeyes (44-20-1).

Dalton Higgins tossed four innings of one-run relief, and Trooper Reynolds went 3 for 4 with an RBI as Dallas Baptist eliminated New Mexico to advance to face Texas Tech in the Regional final. Jameson Hannah had two hits and two runs, and Matt Duce came off the bench to go 2 for 2 with a solo homer and two runs for the Patriots. Jack Zoellner had two hits and an RBI, and Dalton Bowers added two hits and a run for the Lobos.

Justin Wall contributed three hits, two runs and an RBI as the Patriots scored seven runs in the first three innings and extended their lead to 10-0 in the sixth inning. Corey Raley had three hits and two RBI, and Hunter Hargrove chipped in with two hits and two RBI as the Red Raiders scored six times in the seventh to make things interesting.

Clay Fisher went 3 for 4 with a double, triple and three RBI as UCSB built an early 5-0 lead and had to hold off Xavier in a winners’ bracket game. Noah Davis tossed six innings with four earned runs and six strikeouts for the Gauchos, who led 5-0 after three runs in the first and two more in the fourth. David Morton went 3 for 4 with a homer and two RBI for the Musketeers.
Xavier built an early 7-0 lead and held on to eliminate Washington. Rylan Bannon had a double, a homer, scored twice and drove in three to lead the offense for the Musketeers (32-29). Trey Schramm (4-0, 4 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 2 BB) got the win in relief, while Garrett Schilling fanned two of the three hitters he faced in the ninth for his 14th save. Levi Jordan went 2 for 4 with two runs and one RBI for the Huskies (33-23).

Boston College is headed to its first Super Regional after sweeping through the Oxford Regional, getting a 4-for-4 performance with two runs and three RBI from Johnny Adams in the clincher over Tulane. The Eagles, perceived by some as a bubble team to get into the NCAA Tournament, advance after allowing eight runs in three Regional games. Jacob Stevens tossed five effective innings, and after John Witkowski turned in 2.1 scoreless innings of relief, Bobby Skogsbergh gave the Eagles one scoreless inning. He induced a 6-4-3 double play with the bases loaded in the eighth inning as the Green Wave trailed by three. Hunter Williams went 2 for 3 with a solo homer and two runs.
In the first game, Ross Massey gave up one run over eight innings as Tulane topped Utah. Massey (10-3) allowed five hits and two walks with four strikeouts. Sam Bjorngjeld pitched a hitless ninth to record his first save. Jeremy Montalbano (1 for 4, 2 RBI) and Hunter Hope (1 for 3, 2 RBI) both homered for the Green Wave (41-20). Cody Scaggari (2 for 4) went deep for the Utes (26-29).
Raleigh

The Wolfpack (37-21) put up crooked numbers in each of the first four innings in building a 10-0 advantage. Joe Dunand went 4 for 6 with a homer, two runs and two RBI for NCSU. Johnny Piedmonte (1-3, 8.2 IP, 6 H, R, BB, 7 K) picked up the win. Connor Deneen doubled and scored for the Midshipmen (43-16-1).

Ryan Rigby retired the final nine batters with four punchouts to record his first save. Brent Rooker drove in two and scored once for the victorious Bulldogs (44-16-1). Cody Daigle and Michael Deceglie both had hits for LT (42-20).
Earlier, Cameron Linck and Nate Harris combined to hold CSF to a pair of runs as LT stayed alive. Linck (4-1) surrendered four hits and two runs in six innings with one walk and five strikeouts to earn the victory. Harris hurled three scoreless innings with three hits and two strikeouts to notch his fifth save. Bryce Stark drove in a pair, while Jordan Washam went 2 for 2 with three runs for the Bulldogs (42-19). Tanner Pinkston knocked in both runs for the Titans (36-23).

Jackson Lueck homered and drove in four, and John Sansone (3 for 5, 2 R, 3 RBI) and Taylor Walls (3 for 4, 2 R, 2 RBI) also had big nights for the Seminoles. Travis Swaggerty went 3 for 5 with a solo homer and two runs, and Ben Gann homered among his two hits, two runs and two RBI for the Jaguars.
In the first game, Cole Billingsley drove in two as USA edged USM. The Jaguars (42-21) erased a 4-0 deficit with six in the sixth. Jake Sandlin doubled, homered and scored three for the Golden Eagles (41-20).
