In Gainesville, Fla., Kyle Wright tossed a three-hit shutout as Vanderbilt evened its SEC series with Florida. Wright (7-3) walked two and matched his career high with 10 strikeouts. Julian Infante (2 for 4, 2 R) homered, while Ethan Paul doubled and drove in two for the Commodores (15-11, 37-14). A.J. Puk (2-3, 3 H, R, 2 BB) struck out 11 in six innings for the Gators (17-8, 42-9).

Ivy League Championship Series

Game 1: Yale 8, Princeton 7

In Princeton, N.J., Richard Slenker had a two-run single in the top of the ninth to carry Yale past Princeton in Game 1 of the Ivy League Championship Series. Andrew Herrera had two hits and drove in four for the Bulldogs (19-26-1). Mason Kukowski (1-6) got the final out in the eighth to take the win, while Eric Brodkowitz pitched a hitless ninth for his first save. Asher Lee-Tyson went 2 for 3 with three RBI for the Tigers (22-19).

Patriot League Semifinal Series

Game 1: No. 4 Bucknell 9, No. 1 Navy 3

In Annapolis, Md., Andrew Andreychik allowed one earned run in 7.2 innings as Bucknell took Game 1 of its Patriot League Semifinal Series at Navy. Andreychik (5-4) scattered 10 hits with two walks and four strikeouts. The Bison (18-32) scored in four of the first five innings in building a 9-0 lead. Danny Rafferty went 4 for 5 with two runs and two RBI, while Joe Ogren (2 for 5, 2 R, 3 RBI) homered for Bucknell. Sean Trent had three hits and two RBI for the Midshipmen (38-13-1).

Games 1 & 2: No. 2 Holy Cross 9-5, No. 3 Lehigh 4-18

In Worcester, Mass., Holy Cross and Lehigh split the first two games of their Patriot League Semifinal Series. In the opener, Brendan King (7-2, 7 H, 3 R, BB) fanned nine in eight innings for the Crusaders (28-25). Anthony Critelli drove in two, Travis Cloney (2 for 3, R, RBI) doubled twice, and Josh Hassell (3 for 4, 2 R) doubled and homered for Holy Cross. Jacen Nalesnik had two hits and two RBI for the Mountain Hawks (25-28). In the nightcap, Nasesnik went 4 for 6 with a double, two homers, three runs and seven RBI to lead the Lehigh offense. John Scarr (3 for 5, 2 R, 3 RBI) also went deep twice for the visitors. The Mountain Hawks scored multiple runs in three of the first four innings in building a 12-4 lead. Mark Washington (6-1, 5.2 IP, 4 H, R, 2 BB, 6 K) earned the win in relief. Nick Lovullo (2 for 5, 3 RBI) homered for Holy Cross.

 

No. 2 Texas A&M 5, No. 7 South Carolina 2

In Columbia, S.C., Andrew Vinson pitched 4.1 innings of scoreless relief as Texas A&M clinched an SEC series win at South Carolina. Vinson (3-2) allowed one hit and one walk while striking out three. Ryne Birk (3 for 4, 3 R, 2 RBI) homered for the Aggies (18-8, 39-10). Madison Stokes went deep for the Gamecocks (16-9, 37-13).

Duke 3, No. 5 Florida State 1

In Durham, N.C., Trent Swart fanned nine in six innings as Duke downed FSU to clinched an ACC series win. The Blue Devils (12-14, 31-20) took a series from the Seminoles (14-8, 32-17) for the first time since 1994. Swart (3-2) allowed six hits, one walk and one run. Mitch Stallings tossed two scoreless innings with two hits, one walk and one punchout to record his ninth save. Jimmy Herron (3 for 4, R, RBI) doubled twice, while Justin Bellinger went deep for Duke. Matt Henderson went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk for FSU.

No. 6 Louisville 4, No. 12 NC State 2

In Louisville, Ky., Drew Harrington fanned seven in seven innings and Zack Burdi struck out the side in the ninth for his ninth save as Louisville secured an ACC series win over NC State with its 17th straight home victory. Harrington (10-1) allowed eight hits, one walk and two runs. The Cardinals (18-8, 41-10) scored all their runs in the fifth. Brendan McKay (2 for 4) doubled and drove in one, while Drew Ellis went 2 for 2 with a run and an RBI for UL. Evan Mendoza and Joe Dunand both had two hits and an RBI for the Wolfpack (13-11, 32-16).

No. 3 Miami 4, Pittsburgh 3 (11 innings)

In Coral Gables, Fla., Jacob Heyward hit a game-winning homer in the bottom of the 11th as Miami clinched an ACC series win over Pitt. Christopher Barr had two hits, including a triple, and scored twice for the Hurricanes (18-6, 39-9). Frank Maldonado had three hits and a run for the Panthers (10-15, 25-22), who stranded 14.

No. 4 Mississippi State 16, Auburn 6

In Auburn, Ala., Gavin Collins belted a three-run homer to highlight an eight-run second as MSU pounded Auburn to secure an SEC series win. Brent Rooker (3 for 5, 2 R, 3 RBI) went deep twice, while Nathaniel Lowe went 4 for 5 with two runs and three RBI for the Bulldogs (17-9, 36-14-1). Blake Logan (2 for 2, 3 RBI) went deep for the Tigers (8-18, 22-29).

No. 10 Ole Miss 7, Kentucky 5

In Oxford, Miss., Henri Lartigue belted a three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth as Ole Miss completed a three-game SEC sweep of UK. Will Stokes (1-0, 1.2 IP, BB, 3 K) picked up the win for the Rebels (17-10, 39-13). Tristan Pompey (2 for 3) had a two-run homer in the second and JaVon Shelby added a three-run shot an inning later for the Wildcats (13-14, 29-23).

Baylor 8, No. 10 TCU 5

In Waco, Texas, Matt Menard had three hits, including a pair of doubles, and three RBI as Baylor clinched a Big 12 series win over TCU. T.J. Raguse (2 for 3, 2 R, 2 RBI) also had two doubles for the Bears (8-12, 22-25). Daniel Castano (4-4, 7 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 2 K) picked up the win, while Troy Montemayor retired the final two hitters for his 12th save. Mason Hesse had two hits and drove in three for the Horned Frogs (11-9, 33-14).

No. 13 Virginia 9, Georgia Tech 4

In Charlottesville, Va., Alec Bettinger tossed his first career complete game as Virginia secured an ACC series win over Georgia Tech. Bettinger (2-4) allowed six hits and four runs with one walk and seven strikeouts. Daniel Pinero (2 for 4) had a two-run single to highlight a five-run first for the Cavaliers (16-10, 33-17). Matt Gonzalez, Kel Johnson and Brandt Stallings all had solo homers for the Yellow Jackets (11-14, 32-18).

No. 14 LSU 11, Tennessee 3

In Knoxville, Tenn., Beau Jordan had a two-run double to highlight a six-run first as LSU secured an SEC series win over UT. Jordan Romero went 3 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI for the Tigers (16-10, 35-16). Jared Poche’ (6-4, 5.1 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 3 K) picked up the win, while Russell Reynolds (3.2 IP, 3 H, R, K) recorded his first save. Brodie Leftridge had three hits and two runs for the Volunteers (7-19, 26-25).

No. 15 Oklahoma State 10, Oklahoma 9

In Tulsa, Okla., Dustin Williams homered twice and drove in four as OSU evened its Big 12 series with OU. The Cowboys (13-7, 32-16) scored multiple runs in four of their first seven at-bats in building a 10-3 lead. Renae Martinez had two doubles, two runs and two RBI for the Sooners (10-13, 25-24-1).

No. 17 Arizona 4, Arizona State 2

In Tucson, Ariz., Kyle Lewis went 2 for 3 with one run and one RBI as Arizona evened its Pac-12 series with ASU. JC Cloney (5-3, 7.2 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 5 K) earned the victory, while Bobby Dalbec (1.1 IP, 2 H, BB, 3 K) notched his seventh save for the Wildcats (15-11, 32-17). Sebastian Zawada homered for the Sun Devils (12-11, 30-17).

Washington State 7, No. 19 Washington 2

In Seattle, J.J. Hancock had a two-run single to cap a five-run third as WSU clinched a Pac-12 series win over UW. Shane Matheny went 3 for 4 with a double, two runs and one RBI for the Cougars (10-16, 17-28). AJ Graffanino had two hits for the Huskies (13-10, 27-18).

Cal State Fullerton 18, No. 20 UC Santa Barbara 2

In Santa Barbara, Calif., Ruben Cardenas went 4 for 6 with three runs and six RBI as Cal State Fullerton pounded UCSB to even their Big West series. The first-place Titans (13-3, 31-17) scored in seven of the first eight innings, including seven in the sixth. Tanner Pinkston (4 for 5, 2 R) and Timmy Richards (2 for 6) both drove in three for Fullerton. John Gavin (5-2, 6 IP, 3 H, 2 UE, 3 BB, 5 K) picked up the victory. JJ Muno doubled and scored for the Gauchos (10-7, 32-14-1).

No. 18 Florida Atlantic led 3-1 in the top of the fifth at No. 16 Rice when play was suspended due to inclement weather. The game will resume on Sunday morning at 10 am CT.
