In Gainesville, Fla., Brendan Venter had three hits and three RBI as Auburn evened its SEC series at UF. The Tigers (10-10, 31-13) scored multiple runs in five different innings. Will Holland had two hits and three RBI, while Edouard Julien homered and knocked in three for Auburn. Cody Greenhill (3-1, 5 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 3 K) earned the win in relief. Nick Horvath (3 for 4, 2 RBI) homered for the Gators (15-5, 35-10).

In Raleigh, N.C., Ike Freeman put UNC ahead with a two-run double in the top of the eighth to nip NCSU in the ACC series lid-lifter. Ashton McGee also knocked in a pair for the Tar Heels (16-6, 29-13). Ben Casparius (1-0, 1 IP, BB) earned the win in relief, while Joey Lancellotti fanned three over the final 1.1 innings to record his first save. Patrick Bailey (2 for 4, 2 R) homered for the Wolfpack (15-7, 31-9).

In Stanford, Calif., Stanford used a 10-run second to even its Pac-12 series with Cal. Maverick Handley went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs and four RBIĀ for the Cardinal (13-4, 32-6). Tristan Beck (6-2, 6 IP, 4 H, R, 4 BB, 3 K) recorded the victory. Darren Baker went 1 for 3 with one RBI for the Golden Bears (10-10, 24-16).

In Fort Worth, Texas, Adam Oviedo had a three-run double in the bottom of the first to propel TCU past TTU in their Big 12 series opener. A.J. Balta went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI for the Horned Frogs (7-8, 21-17). Sean Wymer (3-3, 3.2 IP, H, BB, 5 K) earned the win in relief, while Durbin Feltman fanned two in a hitless ninth to record his sixth save. Grant Little and Gabe Holt both had one hit, one run and one RBI for the Red Raiders (10-6, 32-11).

In Corvallis, Ore., Luke Heimlich struck out 11 in 8.2 innings as OSU won its Pac-12 series opener against ASU. Heimlich (10-1) allowed five hits and two runs and did not walk a batter. Michael Gretler had two hits and two RBI for the Beavers (11-5, 31-6). Spencer Torkelson homered for the Sun Devils (9-10, 17-24).
LSU 5, No. 6 Ole Miss 2
In Oxford, Miss., Ma’Khail Hilliard allowed one run over seven innings as LSU evened its SEC series at Ole Miss. Hilliard (8-3) gave up four hits and three walks while striking out six. Huter Feduccia had two hits, including a double, and three RBI for the Tigers (10-10, 26-18). Nick Fortes (2 for 3, 2 RBI) homered for the Rebels (11-9, 33-11).

In Fayetteville, Ark., Eric Cole went 2 for 5 with a homer, two runs and two RBI as Arkansas took the SEC series opener against Alabama. Casey Martin (2 for 4, 2 RBI) and Dominic Fletcher (3 for 4) also went deep for the Razorbacks (11-8, 30-13). Blaine Knight (7-0, 6 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 3 BB, 6 K) earned the win, while Jake Reindl (3 IP, 3 H, 4 K) picked up his third save. Joe Breaux (1 for 4, 2 RBI) went deep for the Crimson Tide (5-14, 23-21).

In San Luis Obispo, Calif., Michael Toglia had an RBI double to spark a five-run eighth as UCLA rallied past Cal Poly. Jeremy Ydens had a triple, a homer and three RBI for the Bruins (27-10). Scott Ogrin knocked in a pair for the Mustangs (19-21).

In Greenville, N.C., Wendell Champion II belted a three-run in the sixth to put UH ahead to stay in an American series opener at ECU. Carter Henry (2.1 IP, 2 H, 3 BB, 3 K) earned his sixth save in relief of Trey Cumbie (5-2, 6.2 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 2 BB, 4 K) for the Cougars (11-5, 26-16). Bryant Packard had three hits and two RBI for the Pirates (8-5, 30-10).
Virginia Tech 4, No. 11 Duke 3 (11)
In Blacksburg, Va., JD Mundy delivered a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 11th as VT nipped Duke to kick off their ACC series. Stevie Mangrum homered for the Hokies (8-14, 18-24). Griffin Conine doubled and knocked in two for the Blue Devils (13-8, 31-11).

In Norfolk, Va., Nick Sandlin tossed a three-hit shutout as Southern Miss won its C-USA series opener at ODU. Sandlin (6-0) walked two and struck out 10. Matthew Guidry had three hits and one RBI for the Golden Eagles (14-4, 30-11). Will Morgan went 1 for 3 with a double for the Monarchs (5-14, 12-27).

In Charlottesville, Va., Clemson scored twice in the top of the fourth to erase a 2-1 deficit to win its ACC series opener at UVa. Seth Beer homered for the Tigers (15-7, 32-11). Jacob Hennessy (4-2, 5.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 3 K) earned the win, while Ryley worked the final 1.1 innings with one strikeouts to record his eighth save. Andy Weber had two hits and one RBI for the Cavaliers (9-13, 24-18).

In Lexington, Ky., Sean Hjelle allowed one unearned run in eight innings as UK edged Mizzou to begin their SEC set. Hjelle (6-3) allowed six hits and two walks with eight strikeouts. Chris Machamer (1 IP, H, K) recorded his eighth save. Luke Heyer had a two-run homer in the fifth for the Wildcats (9-10, 28-14) to erase a 1-0 deficit. Brian Sharp had two hits and a run for the Tigers (8-11, 28-14).

In Nashville, Tenn., USC erased an early seven-run deficit with two in the fifth and six in the sixth in a win at Vandy to start their SEC series. Justin Row had three doubles and a run for the Gamecocks (10-8, 25-17). TJ Shook (2-0, 3.1 IP, 2 BB, 5 K) earned the win in relief, while Sawyer Bridges worked a hitless ninth with one strikeout to record his third save. Pat DeMarco (2 for 3, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Ty Duvall both homered for the Commodores (10-8, 24-17).
