Shay Schanaman tossed three scoreless innings with a hit and three strikeouts for the Cornhuskers (4-3-1). RJ Schreck went 2 for 4 with a homer and two RBI, and Parker Noland hit a solo homer for the Commodores (7-4).
No. 9 Louisville 14, No. 12 Texas A&M 5
In Houston, Eddie King, Jr., went 3 for 5 with a pair of RBI, and Patrick Forbes, Isaac Humphrey and Logan Beard added two RBI apiece as Louisville used an eight-run fifth inning to pull away from Texas A&M at the Shriners Classic.

In Blacksburg, Va., Chris Cannizzaro went 4 for 6 and blasted a game-winning, two-run homer in the bottom of the 10th inning as Virginia Tech edged Charlotte. Jack Hurley went 3 for 5 with a homer, three runs and three RBI, and Michel Garrett went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and three RBI for the Hokies (7-2). Cam Fisher went 2 for 5 with a homer, three runs and three RBI as the 49ers (5-5) rallied late to force extras.

In Gainesville, Fla., Wyatt Langford went 3 for 5 with a double, homer and three RBI, and Cade Kurland added a homer among his two hits, two runs and two RBI as Florida topped Miami. Brandon Sproat (3-0) overcame an early three-run homer from Yohandy Morales to toss six strong innings with nine strikeouts for the Gators (9-2). The Hurricanes fell to 7-3.
No. 1 LSU 12, Butler 2 (box)
In Baton Rouge, La., Paul Skenes struck out 13 and allowed one hit over six innings as LSU beat Butler. Dylan Crews ripped a three-run homer, and Alex Milazzo had two hits and two RBI for the Tigers (8-1).
