In College Station, Texas, Jonathan Moroney went 3 for 4 with a two-run single that capped a five-run sixth inning, and Brigham Hill allowed one earned run and struck out eight in seven innings as Texas A&M knocked off Ole Miss. In improving to 28-4 at home, the Aggies (19-9, 40-12) picked up their 40th win of the year. J.B. Moss added three hits and an RBI, and Nick Choruby contributed two hits and two runs for A&M. Will Golsan had two of the five hits for the Rebels (17-11, 39-15).
No. 3 Miami 4, No. 12 Florida State 2
In Tallahassee, Fla., Randy Batista had a two-run double in the seventh inning as Miami rallied late to foil Florida State. The Hurricanes (20-6, 42-9) trailed most of the game and finished with only four hits with Batista’s double erasing a 2-1 deficit. Bryan Garcia pitched the ninth for his 13th save. Drew Carlton allowed two hits and one earned run with six strikeouts in five innings for the Seminoles (15-9, 33-18) in a game that had a pair of rain delays.

In Starkville, Miss., Dakota Hudson tossed a five-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts, and Jake Mangum went 5 for 5 with three runs as Mississippi State blanked Arkansas. Jack Kruger and Nathaniel Lowe each had two hits and a run for the Bulldogs (19-9, 38-14-1). The Razorbacks fell to 7-21, 26-27.
No. 5 Louisville 3, Wake Forest 1
In Winston-Salem, N.C., Brendan McKay tossed six effective innings to pick up his 11th win, and Zack Burdi earned his 10th save as Louisville edged Wake Forest. Devin Hairston went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs and two RBI for the Cardinals (20-8, 44-10). Kevin Conway hit a solo homer for the Demon Deacons (13-15, 32-21).
No. 6 Texas Tech 2, West Virginia 1
In Lubbock, Texas, Hayden Howard tossed three scoreless innings of relief to post his eighth win, and Tyler Neslony singled in a run and scored on a passed ball as Texas Tech scored twice in the seventh to edge West Virginia. Michael Grove and BJ Myers limited the Red Raiders (18-4, 39-13) to three hits in the loss. Ray Guerrini went 3 for 4 for the Mountaineers (11-10, 32-20).
No. 8 South Carolina 6, Alabama 4
In Tuscaloosa, Ala., Marcus Mooney had a two-run single with two outs in the sixth inning to help South Carolina slip past Alabama. The Crimson Tide (15-13, 31-22) had just scored four runs to tie the game in the bottom of the fifth, with Cobie Vance hitting a two-run homer and Cody Henry a two-run single. Madison Stokes went 3 for 3 with two runs for the Gamecocks (18-9, 40-13), who got 4.1 scoreless innings from Reed Scott (4-1) and Tyler Johnson (7th save).
No. 10 Vanderbilt 5-9, Auburn 2-3
In Nashville, Bryan Reynolds and Jeren Kendall each homered in the second game as Vanderbilt swept a doubleheader against Auburn. Reynolds finished with three RBI, and Kendall went 2 for 4 with three runs and two RBI for the Commodores (17-12, 40-15), who reached 40 wins. Niko Buentello homered and drove in three for the Tigers (8-21, 23-32). Earlier in the day, Jordan Sheffield tossed six solid innings, and Ethan Paul had two hits and two runs for Vandy. Blake Logan went 3 for 4 with two RBI for Auburn.

In Charlottesville, Va., Matt Thaiss went 3 for 4 with a homer and four RBI, and Cameron Simmons went 3 for 4 with a homer and two RBI as Virginia beat Virginia Tech for its ninth win in 10 games. Connor Jones worked five innings with five hits, five walks and two earned runs to improve to 11-1 for the Cavaliers (17-11, 34-18). Ernie Clement went 4 for 5 with two runs and an RBI for Virginia. Saige Jenco went 2 for 4 with a run and an RBI for the Hokies (6-22, 19-34).
No. 13 TCU 3, Kansas State 2
In Fort Worth, Texas, Sean Wymer pitched four perfect innings of relief with a career-high six strikeouts as TCU edged KSU to begin their Big 12 series. Wymer improved to 2-0. Durbin Feltman pitched a scoreless ninth to record his fifth save. Dane Steinhagen had two hits and drove in two for the Horned Frogs (13-9, 36-15). Jake Scudder went 2 for 4 with a double and a run for the Wildcats (8-14, 26-27).
No. 14 NC State 6, North Carolina 4
In Raleigh, N.C., Joe Dunand had two doubles, one run and one RBI as NC State downed UNC to kick off their ACC series. The Wolfpack (14-12, 33-17) erased a 2-0 deficit with three in the sixth and three more in the seventh. Cody Beckman (2-0, 1.1 IP, 3 K) earned the win, while Will Gilbert (1 IP, 2 H) recorded his fifth save. Logan Warmoth went 4 for 5 with three RBI for the Tar Heels (12-16, 33-20).
Louisiana Tech 12, No. 16 Rice 2
In Ruston, La., Brent Diaz went 2 for 4 with a triple, a homer and five RBI as Louisiana Tech downed Rice. The Bulldogs (17-11, 35-16) scored in five of the first six innings. Chase Lunceford (3 for 5, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Cody Daigle (1 for 3, 2 R) also went deep for Tech. Phillip Diehl (5-4, 4 H, R, BB, 6 K) earned the victory. Dane Myers had two hits and one RBI for the Owls (19-8, 32-18).
No. 17 Clemson 2, Notre Dame 1 (11 innings)
In Notre Dame, Ind., Chris Williams homered in the top of the 11th as Clemson nipped Notre Dame. Seth Beer had two hits, two walks and a run for the Tigers (14-14, 36-18). Jake Biggio doubled and scored for the Irish (11-15, 27-25).
No. 18 Coastal Carolina 9, Campbell 1
In Conway, S.C., Alex Cunningham and Andrew Beckwith combined on a three-hitter as Coastal Carolina took care of Campbell. Cunningham (8-3) allowed two hits and a run in six innings with no walks and nine strikeouts. Beckwith surrendered one hit and one walk in the final three innings with two strikeouts to register his second save. The Chanticleers (19-3, 38-15) scored in each of the first six innings. Connor Owings went 4 for 4 with three runs for Coastal. Anthony Lopez went 1 for 3 with one RBI for the Camels (13-9, 26-25).
FIU 6, No. 20 Southern Miss 5 (10 innings)
In Miami, Fla., Zack Soria scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 10th as FIU edged Southern Miss. Soria had two hits, including a triple, and three runs, while Irving Lopez went 3 for 4 with a homer and two RBI for the Panthers (13-15, 26-27). Chuckie Robinson had two hits and one RBI for the Golden Eagles (20-8, 36-16).
No. 1 Florida at No. 9 LSU as well as Kansas at No. 15 Oklahoma State and No. 19 Tulane at Houston were postponed due to inclement weather.
