In Piscataway, N.J., Micah Coffey went 3 for 4 with a run and an RBI, and Patrick Fredrickson improved to 8-0 with two earned runs in 6.1 strong innings as Minnesota captured the Big Ten regular season title by beating Rutgers. Alex Boxwell scored twice, and Jordan Kozicky added two hits and an RBI for the Golden Gophers (18-4, 37-13), who scored three runs in the seventh to slip past the Scarlet Knights (7-16, 25-25). Kyle Walker homered and drove in two for Rutgers.

Mississippi State 12, No. 1 Florida 4

In Starkville, Miss., Tanner Allen went 3 for 5 with a homer and three RBI as MSU clinched a series win over UF. The Bulldogs (14-15, 30-24) scored multiple runs in four of the first five innings, including six in the fifth. Austin Langworthy homered and drove in two, while Wil Dalton went 3 for 4 with two doubles and two runs for the Gators (20-9, 41-14).

No. 2 Oregon State 4, USC 0

In Los Angeles, Luke Heimlich fanned 14 for the second straight game as OSU blanked USC to kick off their Pac-12 series. Heimlich (13-1) went 8.1 innings with four hits and no walks. Jake Mulholland rolled a double play against the only batter he faced in earning his 14th save. Kyle Nobach went 4 for 4 with a double, two runs and one RBI for the Beavers (17-7-1 41-8-1). Four players had one hit for the Trojans (11-17, 24-24).

No. 7 Clemson 4, Pittsburgh 1

In Pittsburgh, Drew Wharton drove in a pair of runs, and Seth Beer blasted his 18th homer as Clemson captured the ACC’s Atlantic Division title by beating Pittsburgh for the second straight day. Brooks Crawford (8-2) allowed one run and struck out six in 5.1 innings, and Ryan Gillam earned his ninth save for the Tigers (21-8, 42-13), who won their first division title since 2010. Nick Banman went 2 for 4 with an RBI for the Panthers (11-18, 27-24).

Georgia Tech 20, No. 9 Duke 7

In Atlanta, Kyle McCann went 4 for 5 with four runs and three RBI, and Wade Bailey added three hits, two runs and three RBI as Georgia Tech used a 12-run fifth inning to rout Duke in the ACC. Tristan English and Colin Hall (2 for 5, 3 R) each homered and drove in three, and Austin Wilhite added two runs and three RBI for the Yellow Jackets (14-15, 31-24). Joey Bart went 2 for 4 with three runs, his 16th homer and two RBI for Tech. Chris Proctor had two hits and two RBI, and Griffin Conine added a 3-for-4 day with a run and an RBI for the Blue Devils (17-11, 38-14).

No. 10 East Carolina 6-2, Connecticut 3-4

In Storrs, Conn., Michael Woodworth went 2 for 3 with a solo homer and two runs as Connecticut won the second game of its doubleheader to claim its series with East Carolina. Chase Gardner earned the win with five strong innings before turning it over to Tim Cate – pitching for the first time since March 29 – and P.J. Poulin (15th save), who combined to allow five hits and an earned run over four innings of relief for the Huskies (14-10, 32-18-1). In the first game, Bryant Packard went 3 for 4 with a pair of homers and three RBI, and Spencer Brickhouse added a homer and two RBI for the Pirates (14-10, 39-14).

No. 15 Southern Miss 7, Marshall 4

In Beckley, W.Va., Luke Reynolds went 2 for 3 with his 14th homer, two runs and two RBI, and Casey Maack homered and drove in two as Southern Miss beat Marshall for the second straight day. Walker Powell improved to 7-2 with seven innings with three earned runs and five strikeouts for the Golden Eagles (22-6, 38-15). Reynaldo Pastrana went 2 for 5 with a homer, two runs and two RBI, and Will Ray added three hits, including a solo homer, for Marshall (7-21, 19-30).
