In Los Angeles, Jesse Franklin had a two-run single to cap a four-run first as Michigan edged UCLA at Jackie Robinson Stadium on Day 1 of the Dodgertown Classic. Jordan Brewer had two hits, including a double, and two RBI for the Wolverines (9-2). Tommy Henry (4-0, 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 BB) fanned 10 in recording the win, while Willie Weiss (3 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 2 BB) notched his fourth save. Michael Toglia had two hits and three RBI for the Bruins (9-3).

In Stanford, Calif., Maverick Handley had two hits and knocked in three as Stanford evened its series with UT. Handley had an RBI groundout in the second and a two-run single to cap a four-run third as the Cardinal (10-3) built a 7-0 lead. Christian Robinson and Duke Kinamon both had two hits and two runs for the victors. Jacob Palisch (2-0, 6 IP, 4 H, R, BB, 6 K) recorded the win. Zach Zubia went 2 for 3 with one RBI for the Longhorns (12-4).

In Tallahassee, Fla., J.C. Flowers had a bases-clearing double with two away in the bottom of the 10th as FSU rallied past VT in the opener of their ACC series. The Hokies (0-1, 8-4) had a two-run single by Reagan Teegarden (3 for 5, 3 RBI) in the top of the 10th to take an 8-6 advantage. The Seminoles (1-0, 12-0) tied it in the eighth as Drew Mendoza had a two-run double to cap a three-run rally.
San Diego 8, No. 16 Coastal Carolina 5
In Seattle, Tora Otsuka had a bases-clearing triple to highlight a six-run eighth as USD outscored CCU in the opening game of the Seattle Baseball Showcase. Ripken Reyes drove in a pair for the Toreros (10-4). Parker Chavers knocked in two for the Chanticleers (12-3). The game was called after eight innings due to a pre-determined time limit of 3:30.
No. 1 Vanderbilt 10, Illinois State 4
In Nashville, Tenn., Stephen Scott went 3 for 5 with two runs and two RBI as Vandy erased an early deficit in the series opener vs. ISU. Philip Clarke scored twice and knocked in a pair for the Commodores (12-2). Joe Aeilts had a grand slam four batters into the game for the Redbirds (7-4). Drake Fellows (3-0, 6 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 4 BB, 9 K) recorded the win, while Tyler Brown tossed three hitless frames with one walk and six punchouts for his second save.

In Seattle, Adley Rutschman belted a two-run homer in the top of the sixth as OSU edged UM. Rutschman went 2 for 3 with a pair of walks for the Beavers (11-1). Christian Chamberlain (1-0, 4.1 IP, 7 K) earned the win in relief. Cole McDevitt had an RBI single for the Gophers (2-9).
In Gainesville, Fla., Nelson Maldonado went 2 for 4 with a two-run homer and three RBI, and Jud Fabian delivered two hits and two runs as Florida held off Yale. Tim DeGraw and Griffen Dey each drove in two runs, and Simon Whiteman went 4 for 5 with two runs as the Bulldogs (3-5), who trailed 5-2 before Dey’s two-run double in the seventh. Brady McConnell hit a solo homer to give the Gators (11-5) a little breathing room.
No. 7 Mississippi State 9-5, Maine 2-1 (Game 1 box, Game 2 box)
In Starkville, Miss., Jordan Westburg went 2 for 4 with a three-run homer in a four-RBI game, and Ethan Small struck out 10 and allowed one unearned run in six innings as Mississippi State won the first game of a doubleheader with Maine. In the second game, JT Ginn also tossed six innings, allowing one earned run and striking out eight as the Bulldogs completed the sweep.
In Baton Rouge, La., Josh Smith delivered a two-run single with two outs in the bottom of the ninth as LSU rallied to beat Cal. Smith, who was hitless on the night, looped a soft liner to center to extend his hitting streak to 13 games and give the Tigers (10-3) the win. Arman Sabouri tossed five innings with one hit and one earned run, and Cameron Eden went 2 for 2 with a solo homer in the first and two RBI for the Bears (6-5).
No. 11 Texas Tech 12, Wichita State 2
In Lubbock, Texas, Brian Klein went 3 for 4 with two runs and two RBI, and Dru Baker contributed two hits, two runs and two RBI as Texas Tech pulled away late from Wichita State. The Red Raiders (9-3) scored six times in the seventh and added two more in the eighth to break away from a 4-1 game. Luke Ritter went 3 for 5 with an RBI for the Shockers (5-7).

In Louisville, Ky., Reid Detmers yielded three hits and struck out 13 in 7.2 scoreless innings as Louisville opened ACC play with a win over Boston College. Detmers (3-0) ran his scoreless streak to 23.1 innings and lowered his ERA to 0.33. Drew Campbell doubled in a run and scored on a wild pitch as the Cardinals (1-0, 10-3) were limited to four hits by four Eagles (0-1, 7-5) pitchers.
In Oxford, Miss., Kevin Graham went 2 for 4 with a homer and four RBI, and Cole Zabowski went 2 for 4 with a homer, three runs and three RBI as Ole Miss outhit UAB. The Rebels (10-3) racked up 15 hits, getting three hits, two runs and two RBI from Ryan Olenek. Thomas Johns went 3 for 4 with a homer and three RBI, and Colton Schultz went 3 for 5 with a homer, three runs and three RBI for the Blazers (9-5).

In Fayetteville, Ark., Isaiah Campbell allowed two earned runs and struck out 10 in six innings, and Casey Opitz and Trey Harris each drove in two as Arkansas edged Louisiana Tech. Harris delivered a pinch-hit, two-run double to break a 2-2 tie for the Razorbacks (11-1). Parker Bates led the Bulldogs (9-4) with two hits and an RBI.

In Athens, Ga., Riley King and Tucker Maxwell had grand slams in consecutive innings as Georgia blitzed Presbyterian. King (1 for 5, 2 R, 5 RBI) went deep in the fourth to give the Bulldogs (12-2) an 8-0 lead. Maxwell (2 for 2, 2 R, 6 RBI) made it 12-0 an inning later. Emerson Hancock (4-0, 6 IP, 4 H, 2 BB, 8 K) earned the victory. Garrett Jones went 1 for 1 with a walk for the Blue Hose (6-7).

In Raleigh, N.C., Patrick Bailey had an RBI fielder’s choice to cap a three-run seventh and brek a 3-3 tie as NCSU nipped Pitt in the ACC series opener. Lawson McArthur went 2 for 2 with a double and a run for the Wolfpack (1-0, 13-0). Ron Washington, Jr. went 2 for 3 with a walk and a run for the Panthers (0-1, 6-5).
In Auburn, Ala., Tanner Burns fanned 10 in seven scoreless frames as Auburn shut out UTSA in the series opener. Burns (3-0) scattered four hits and walked one. Rankin Woley had a two-run single to highlight a four-run third for the Tigers (12-2). Matt Scheffler went 2 for 2 with one walk and one run for Auburn. Dylan Rock went 1 for 4 with a double for the Roadrunners (7-7).

In Greenvville, N.C., Jake Agnos struck out 10 in seven scoreless innings as ECU blanked Marist to kick off their three-game set. Agnos (2-1) allowed four hits and walked one. Brady Lloyd went 3 for 3 with one RBI, while Spencer Brickhouse and Jake Washer both went 2 for 4 with one run and one RBI for the Pirates (10-5). Anthony Lazar had three hits for the Red Foxes (4-6).

- Elian Mereio had a two-out, two run single in the bottom of the 13th inning as Georgia State beat East Tennessee State 6-5.
- Alerick Soularie went 2 for 2 with a homer, two runs and three RBI to as Tennessee beat Fresno State to improve to 14-0. Garrett Stallings allowed three runs in the first but settled down to work six innings – it was only the second game all year the Vols have allowed three runs.
- Jaylen Guy had two hits and two RBI as Liberty (10-3) won on the road at South Florida 6-4.
- Gunner Leger tossed five scoreless innings, and Brandon Young tossed four scoreless innings as Louisiana blanked Loyola Marymount 5-0.
- Reid Bourque went 3 for 4 with five RBI as McNeese won a wild one at Louisiana-Monroe 13-12.
- Joe Montes went 2 for 4 with a homer and two RBI, and Gunnar Lambert added two hits and two RBI as FAU beat Northeastern in the first game of a series between two NCAA teams last year.
- Pitching was on display as Logan Allen allowed one hit and struck out 11 in seven scoreless innings, and Jan Figueroa closed with two innings as FIU edged Seton Hall 1-0. Three Pirates pitchers combined to allow four hits in a game that featured six total hits, including Adrian Fernandez’s solo homer for FIU.

- Donta Williams went 4 for 5 with four runs, and Matt Fraizer had three hits and four RBI as Arizona beat College of Charleston 7-5.
- Tatem Levins went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and three RBI, and Kevin McGowan went 3 for 3 with four runs and two RBI as LaSalle edged New Mexico State 9-8.
