Boston College 2, No. 4 Louisville
In Chestnut Hill, Mass., Nick Sciortino singled in the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift Boston College past Louisville for the second straight day in the ACC. Jason Dunn tossed a career-best six innings, allowing only six hits, including a homer to Danny Rosenbaum (2 for 4). Jake Palomaki (2 for 5) singled in a run to tie the game for the Eagles (7-11, 21-14). Drew Harrington turned in a nice start for the Cardinals (13-7, 30-9) with five hits and one run in 6.2 innings.
No. 1 Miami 9, Virginia 2
In Coral Gables, Fla., Miami snapped a scoreless tie with three in the sixth on its way to evening its ACC series with Virginia. Jason Heyward (1 for 4, 3 RBI), Willie Abreu (1 for 4) and Edgar Michelangeli (2 for 3) all homered for the Hurricanes (14-4, 30-7). Michael Mediavilla (7-1) allowed one hit over six scoreless frames with five walks and four strikeouts in recording the victory. Justin Novak went 2 for 3 with one RBI for the Cavaliers (10-10, 25-17).
No. 2 Florida 4, Georgia 1
In Gainesville, Fla., Peter Alonso went 2 for 4 with two runs and a two-run homer, and Alex Faedo allowed two hits and struck out six in 5.2 scoreless innings as Florida claimed its SEC series with Georgia. Alonso homered in the first, and the Gators (13-5, 36-6) scored single runs in the second and third innings to build an early lead for Faedo (8-1). Ryan Larson and Buddy Reed each contributed two hits and an RBI for Florida. The Bulldogs (7-11, 21-20) mustered only five hits, with pinch-hitter Patrick Sullivan plating a run on a sacrifice fly in the ninth.
Alabama 7, No. 3 Texas A&M 4
In College Station, Texas, Jake Walters tossed 5.2 scoreless innings as Alabama leveled its SEC series with Texas A&M. Walters (4-3) worked around five hits and six walks while striking out one. Cody Henry went 3 for 5 with two doubles, two runs and two RBI, while Chandler Taylor doubled, homered and drive in a pair for the Crimson Tide (9-8, 24-16). Hunter Melton went 3 for 3 with one run and one RBI for the Aggies (11-6, 31-8), who stranded 12 and had their nine-game win streak snapped.
Tennessee 2, No. 5 Vanderbilt
In Knoxville, Tenn., Andy Cox tossed four hitless innings of relief, and Benito Santiago had an inside-the-park homer as Tennessee edged Vanderbilt. Zach Warren (5-4) allowed four hits and a run before turning it over to Cox, who yielded only three walks and struck out five to post his first save. Jordan Rodgers went 2 for 2 with a run for the Volunteers (5-12, 22-17). Tyler Campbell drove in the lone run for the Commodores (10-7, 30-9).
No. 6 TCU 11, Oklahoma State 6
In Stillwater, Okla., Josh Watson went 3 for 5 with a homer and four RBI as TCU tied its Big 12 series at OSU. Dalton Horton (7-0, 6 IP, 5 H, 2 R) earned the victory for the Horned Frogs (10-4, 28-9). Garrett Benge had a three-run homer in the ninth for the Cowboys (8-6, 24-14).
No. 7 Mississippi State 2, No. 8 LSU 1
In Baton Rouge, Austin Sexton allowed one run in 7.1 innings as MSU won its SEC series at LSU. Sexton (4-2) gave up five hits with one walk and four strikeouts. Reid Humphreys retired the final two batters to record his fifth save. Jack Kruger went 2 for 4 with a homer for the Bulldogs (10-7, 27-12-1). Alex Lange (4-3, 9 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 1 ER, BB, 7 K) was the tough-luck loser for the Tigers (9-8, 26-13).
No. 9 Florida State 7, Notre Dame 6 (12 innings)
In Tallahassee, Fla., Quincy Nieporte doubled and scored on a base hit by Jackson Lueck in the bottom of the 12th as FSU clinched an ACC series victory over Notre Dame. Nieporte went 4 for 6 with two runs and three RBI, while John Sansone had four hits and Lueck finished with two hits and two RBI for the Seminoles (12-4, 27-11). Jake Shepski and Ricky Sanchez both homered and drove in three for the Fighting Irish (9-9, 23-14).
No. 10 South Carolina 5, Missouri 1
In Columbia, S.C., Gene Cone had two runs and two hits, tying Whit Merrifield’s program-record 26-game hit streak, as South Carolina clinched an SEC series win over Missouri. Alex Destino had two hits and knocked in four for the Gamecocks (13-4, 32-8). Braden Webb (8-2, 5.2 IP, 4 H, R, 6 BB) fanned 10 in recording the win, while Josh Reagan (2.1 IP, BB, K) notched his 11th save. Jake Ring had two hits and one RBI for the Tigers (4-13, 20-20).
No. 11 NC State 9, North Carolina A&T 1
In Greensboro, N.C., Preston Palmeiro homered and drove in three as NC State topped NCA&T. Brett Kinneman also went deep and knocked in two for the Wolfpack (27-11). Cory Wilder (3-1, 6 IP, 6 H, R, BB, 5 K) recorded the victory. Jarrett Norman hit a homer in the fifth for the lone run for the Aggies (9-32).
Texas 7, No. 12 Texas Tech 4
In Lubbock, Texas, Patrick Mathis had two hits and three RBI as Texas evened its Big 12 series at Texas Tech. The Longhorns (8-6, 18-21) trailed 4-1 before plating two in the fifth and three in the seventh. Zane Gurwitz had two hits and knocked in a pair for UT. Nolan Kingham pitched three hitless innings to record his second save, giving the win to Ty Culbreth (8-2, 6 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 4 BB, 4 K). Stephen Smith homered and scored twice for the Red Raiders (12-2, 31-11), who snapped an 11-game conference win streak as well as a 13-game home win streak..
Cal Poly 10, No. 13 UC Santa Barbara 5
In San Luis Obispo, Calif., Michael Sanderson went 3 for 4 with a double, two runs and two RBI as Cal Poly clinched a Big West series win vs. UCSB. The Mustangs (6-2, 24-13) scored in each of the first three innings in building a 7-4 advantage. John Schuknecht (2 for 4, 3 R, 2 RBI) homered for Cal Poly. Erich Uelmen (5-0, 7 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 2 BB, 5 K) picked up the win. Austin Bush doubled twice and knocked in a pair for the Gauchos (5-3, 25-9-1).
Wake Forest 5, No. 15 North Carolina 4
In Winston-Salem, N.C., Kevin Conway went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs and two RBI, and Will Craig fired 2.1 innings of relief as Wake Forest claimed its ACC series with North Carolina. Nate Mondou had four hits, and Logan Harvey added a two-run double for the Demon Deacons (9-11, 25-17). Brian Miller had two hits and two RBI for the Tar Heels (9-11, 26-14).
Arizona 8, No. 16 California 5 (13 innings)
In Berkeley, Calif., Ryan Aguilar belted a three-run homer that hit the right field foul pole in the top of the 13th as Arizona secured a Pac-12 series win at Cal. The Golden Bears (9-8, 22-13) tied the game with a run in the bottom of the ninth and both teams scored in the 11th. Zach Gibbons went 5 for 6 with two doubles, one run and one RBI for the Wildcats (9-8, 25-14). Bobby Dalbec (8-3, 5.2 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 5 BB, 3 K) earned the victory. Robbie Tenerowicz went 4 for 7 with a double, a homer and four RBI for Cal.
No. 17 Rice 4, Southern Miss 3
In Hattiesburg, Miss., Connor Teykl plated the tying run in the sixth inning and the go-ahead run in the eighth as Rice slipped past Southern Miss in a battle of the top two teams in Conference USA. Ryan Chandler gave the Owls (13-4, 25-12) an early lead with two-run homer in the third inning, and Glenn Otto (5-1) struck out three in 2.1 innings of hitless relief. Jake Sandlin went 3 for 4 with a solo homer, and Nick Dawson had two RBI for the Golden Eagles (13-4, 28-12).

In Oxford, Miss., Ole Miss used a four-run second to clinch an SEC series win over Auburn. Ryan Olenek went 3 for 5 with two RBI to lead the Rebels (9-8, 30-10). David Parkinson (2-1, 5.1 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 4 BB, 2 K) earned the victory, while Will Stokes (1.1 IP, H, 2 K) registered his sixth save. Melvin Gray had three hits for the Tigers (5-12, 18-21).
Arkansas 2-4, No. 19 Kentucky 0-5
In Lexington, Ky., Zach Jackson tossed a seven-inning two-hit shutout in the opener as Arkansas split a doubleheader at Kentucky to secure an SEC series win. Jackson (3-4) walked three and fanned eight. Carson Shaddy had two hits and a run for the Razorbacks (6-12, 24-16). Riley Mahan had both hits for the Wildcats (10-8, 24-15). In Game 2, UK scored twice in the bottom of the seventh for the walk-off win. Dorian Hairston went 2 for 4 with a homer and three RBI for the Wildcats. Clark Eagan (2 for 4, 2 R) went deep for Arkansas.
FIU 4, No. 20 FAU 3
In Miami, Irving Lopez had an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth to drive in Nick Day with the game-winner as FIU clinched a Conference USA series win over FAU. Dy went 3 for 4 with two runs and one RBI for the Panthers (7-10, 19-21). Christopher Mourelle (5-4, 8 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 4 K) earned the win, while Williams Durruthy pitched a hitless ninth with one walk and three strikeouts to record his fifth save. Sean Labsan had two hits and two RBI for the Owls (11-6, 27-10).
