In Stanford, Calif., Will Matthiessen delivered an RBI single with two away in the bottom of the ninth as Stanford took the Pac-12 series opener from UCLA to extend its win streak to 11. Brandon Wulff homered in the first and Kyle Stowers added an RBI double in the eighth as the Cardinal (7-0, 20-3) built a 2-0 advantage. Ryan Kreidler (2 for 4, 2 2B) had an RBI double and RJ Teijeiro added a pinch-hit run-scoring single in the top of the ninth as the Bruins (7-3, 21-6) tied the game at 2-2. Brendan Beck tossed 7.1 scoreless innings for Stanford with five hits, two walks and five strikeouts. Austin Weiermiller (5-0) recorded the final two outs with one punchout to pick up the win.

No. 4 Vanderbilt 3, No. 7 Georgia 2 (11 innings)

In Athens, Ga., Ethan Paul homered in the top of the 11th as VU nipped UGA to kick off their SEC series. Pinch-hitter Walker Grisanti went deep in the top of the ninth for the Commodores (7-3, 24-6) to level the score at 2-2. LJ Talley and John Cable had run-scoring singles in the third for the Bulldogs (7-3, 25-6). Tyler Brown (1-0, 2 IP, 2 H, BB, 3 K) recorded the win, following Drake Fellows (7 IP, 5 H, 2 R, BB, 6 K) and Zach King (2 IP, H, BB, 2 K). Emerson Hancock (7 IP, 4 H, R, 4 BB) fanned eight for UGA.

No. 19 Clemson 5, No. 11 Louisville 1

In Clemson, S.C., Logan Davidson belted a three-run homer in the third to erase a 1-0 deficit and propel Clemson past UL in their ACC series opener. Kyle Wilkie and Elijah Henderson also went deep for the Tigers (10-3, 23-7). Davis Sharpe (5-1, 6.2 IP, 4 H, R, BB, 7 K) earned the win, while Holt Jones (2.1 IP, 2 BB, 3 K) recorded his third save. Justin Lavey went 1 for 4 with a double and one RBI for the Cardinals (9-4, 23-7).

No. 12 LSU 2, No. 10 Texas A&M 1

In Baton Rouge, La., Josh Smith homered with one away in the bottom of the eighth as LSU edged TAMU to begin their SEC set. Brandt Broussard scored on an error in the seventh to tie the game for the Tigers (7-3, 22-9). Logan Foster had a leadoff double and scored on a base hit by Zach DeLoach in the third for the Aggies (6-3-1, 24-7-1). Devin Fontenot (4-0, 1.2 IP, H) fanned three of the six batters he faced in recording the victory.

In Auburn, Ala., Heston Kjerstad homered in the top of the 15th of the nightcap and Matt Goodheart added a two-run double later in the frame as Arkansas split an SEC doubleheader with Auburn. Trevor Ezell (2 for 6, 4 RBI) had a two-run homer in the top of the 12th to give the Razorbacks (7-4, 23-8) the lead before Edouard Julien scored on a wild pitch and Ryan Bliss delivered a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the frame for the Tigers (7-4, 23-8). In the opener, Bliss (2 for 4, R, 3 RBI) had a two-run single to cap a game-tying three-run sixth, and added an RBI base hit in a three-run eighth for Auburn. Conor Davis went 3 for 4 with one run and two RBI for the Tigers. Kjerstad had a two-run homer in the fifth for the Razorbacks.

No. 15 Texas Tech 5, Kansas 4

In Lubbock, Texas, Brian Klein had an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth to drive in Gabe Holt with the game-winning run as TTU topped KU to kick off their Big 12 series. The Red Raiders (4-3, 20-8) trailed 4-0 before Dru Baker (2 for 3) had a two-run single and scored in the sixth to make it a one-run game. A run-scoring groundout by Braxton Fulford in the eighth evened the score at 4-4. Benjamin Sems had two hits and knocked in three for the Jayhawks (1-6, 15-14).

No. 3 NC State 6, Boston College 5

In Brighton, Mass., Vojtech Mensik had an RBI double to snap a 3-3 tie and spark a three-run top of the ninth as NCSU edged BC to begin their ACC series. Evans Edwards drove in two for the Wolfpack (11-2, 28-3). Ramon Jimenez went 2 for 4 with one RBI for the Eagles (5-8, 14-16), who scored two in the bottom of the ninth to make it close.

No. 5 Oregon State 6, Utah 2

In Corvallis, Ore., Adley Rutschman had a two-run homer to cap a six-run second as OSU topped Utah in their Pac-12 series opener. Beau Philip and Jake Harvey both had two hits, one run and one RBI for the Beavers (7-3, 21-6-1). Brandon Eisert (7-0, 6 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 7 K) earned the win. Rykker Tom had two hits, including a double, while Zack Moeller went 1 for 3 with a double, one run and one RBI for the Utes (1-9, 8-16).

USC 10, No. 6 Arizona State 6

In Los Angeles, Matthew Acosta had four hits and knocked in five as USC outscored ASU in their Pac-12 lid-lifter. Acosta had an RBI single in the first, a two-run base hit in the third, a run-scoring single in the fourth and an RBI double in the sixth. Blake Sabol had three hits, three runs and one RBI, while Brandon Perez went 2 for 4 with a triple, a homer, two runs and two RBI for the Trojans (4-6, 11-17). Trevor Hauver had a three-run homer in the ninth for the Sun Devils (8-2, 25-3).

No. 8 Mississippi State 6, Tennessee 3 (11 innings)

In Knoxville, Tenn., Mangum had a two-run single to cap a four-run 11th as MSU outlasted UT to begin their SEC series. Mangum went 4 for 6 with two runs and two RBI. He raised his career hit total to 337, a program record. Elijah MacNamee had two hits and two RBI for the Bulldogs (6-4, 26-5). Andre Lipcius went 4 for 5 with two doubles and two runs for the Volunteers (3-7, 22-9).

No. 13 North Carolina 11, Georgia Tech 4

In Atlanta, Aaron Sabato went 3 for 5 with a homer and three RBI as UNC downed GT to begin their ACC series. Ike Freeman (2 for 3, 2 BB, 2 R) also knocked in three for the Tar Heels (8-5, 23-7). Luke Waddell had two hits and two RBI, while Austin Wilhite had two doubles and scored twice for the Yellow Jackets (7-6, 20-10).

Houston 2, No. 14 East Carolina 0

In Houston, Lael Lockhart, Jr. tossed 7.2 scoreless innings as UH edged ECU in the American series opener. Lockhart (2-4) allowed four hits with one walk and two strikeouts. Fred Villarreal (1.1 IP, H, BB, K) earned his seventh save. Jared Triolo (3 for 4) scored on an error in the first and homered in the third for the Cougars (3-4, 17-13). Bryant Packard and Brady Lloyd both had two hits for the Pirates (6-1, 22-7).

Baylor 6, No. 17 Texas 5

In Waco, Texas, Davion Downey delivered an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth as BU bounced UT to begin their Big 12 set. Downey was plunked with the bases loaded in the third and had a run-scoring single in the fifth for the Bears (6-1, 22-7). Masen Hibbeler had a two-run homer in the second for the Longhorns (3-4, 20-13).

Ole Miss 12, No. 18 Florida 4

In Oxford, Miss., Cooper Johnson had two hits and drove in five as Ole Miss downed UF to kick off their SEC set. Johnson had a two-run single to cap a four-run fourth and added a three-run homer in the eighth for the Rebels (6-4, 21-10). Tyler Keenan (3 for 5, 2 R, 3 RBI) and Cole Zabowski (2 for 5, 2 R) also went deep for Ole Miss. Brady Smith (1 for 3, 2 R) and Brady McConnell (3 for 4, 3 RBI) both homered for the Gators (4-6, 21-11).

No. 20 UC Irvine 9, Long Beach State 4

In Irvine, Calif., Brandon Lewis went 2 for 5 and drove in three as UCI downed LBSU in their Big West series opener. The Anteaters (3-1, 19-5) scored three in the second ad five in the sixth to take control. Mikey Filia went 2 for 4 with two runs and two RBI for UCI. Andre Pallante (5-2, 7 IP, 9 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 4 K) earned the win. Kaden Hogan had two doubles, scored twice and knocked in one for the Dirtbags (0-1, 4-24).
