In Corvallis, Ore., Luke Heimlich struck out a career-high 14 in eight innings as OSU took the Pac-12 series opener from Stanford. Heimlich (12-1) allowed three hits, two runs and two walks. Trevor Larnach (2 for 4, R) and Michael Gretler (1 for 4, 2B) both drove in two for the Beavers (15-6-1, 37-7-1), who scored three in the first and never trailed. Will Matthiessen had a two-run homer in the fifth for the Cardinal (17-5, 38-7).
No. 1 Florida 7, No. 13 Georgia 6
In Gainesville, Fla., Nelson Maldonado drove in the tying run, and Will Dalton plated the game-winner with a fly ball to center as Florida scored twice in the ninth to beat Georgia. Maldonado had two hits and three RBI, and JJ Schwarz went 3 for 4 with a homer and three RBI for the Gators (19-6, 40-11), who led 3-0 after four. But LJ Talley hit a grand slam in the sixth to give the Bulldogs (15-10, 34-15) a 5-3 lead.
No. 10 Duke 7, No. 4 North Carolina 3
In Durham, N.C., Zack Kone and Kennie Taylor each drove in two runs as Duke scored four late runs to top North Carolina. Kone had an RBI single as part of a two-run seventh, and Taylor added a two-run triple in the eighth for the Blue Devils (16-8, 37-11). Michael Busch had two hits and a run to lead the Tar Heels (18-7, 33-15).
No. 5 NC State 8, Wake Forest 5
In Raleigh, N.C., Will Wilson had two hits and four RBI, and Brett Kinneman hit a three-run homer in the first inning as NC State got past Wake Forest in the ACC. Kent Klyman tossed 3.2 innings of scoreless relief with three hits and four strikeouts to improve to 6-2 for the Wolfpack (16-9, 37-12). Patrick Frick and Bobby Seymour, who homered in the sixth, each had two hits and two RBI for the Demon Deacons (11-14, 22-27).
No. 6 Arkansas 9, Texas A&M 3
In Fayetteville, Ark., Blaine Knight improved to 8-0 with three earned runs and 11 strikeouts in seven innings, and Carson Shaddy ripped a three-run homer as Arkansas beat Texas A&M in the SEC. Eric Cole added two RBI, and Casey Martin contributed a 3-for-4 night with an RBI for the Razorbacks (15-10, 34-15). Will Frizzell had a two-run homer for the Aggies (12-13, 34-15).
Austin Peay 6, No. 7 Clemson 3
In Clemson, S.C., Michael Costanzo (9-1) tossed six strong innings with three earned runs and six strikeouts, and Bobby Head went 3 for 4 with a homer and two RBI as Austin Peay knocked off Clemson. Brett Newberg allowed four hits over three scoreless innings to post his sixth save for the Governors (30-20). Seth Beer went 2 for 4 with his 16th homer and two RBI for the Tigers (37-13).
No. 8 Ole Miss 8, No. 18 Auburn 3
In Oxford, Miss., Brady Feigl struck out 12 and allowed three earned runs in eight innings, and Tyler Keenan went 3 for 4 with a homer, two runs and four RBI as Ole Miss topped Auburn for the second straight day to give coach Mike Bianco his 800th career win (700th with the Rebels). Chase Cockrell had a two-run homer as the Rebels (15-11, 38-13) scored three times in the second off Tigers ace Casey Mize (9-3). Thomas Dillard added three hits, two runs and an RBI as Ole Miss extended its lead to 8-1. Luke Jarvis went 2 for 3 with a run for Auburn (13-13, 35-16).
Louisiana Tech 10, No. 9 Southern Miss 6
In Hattiesburg, Miss., Steele Netterville had three runs and three RBI as LT outscored Southern Miss to kick off their C-USA series. The Bulldogs (17-8, 34-17) erased a 4-1 deficit with seven in the seventh. Parker Bates, Taylor Young and Mason Robinson each drove in two for the victors. LeeMarcus Boyd (2 for 3) had a three-run homer in the fourth for the Golden Eagles (19-5, 35-13).

In Seattle, Michael Toglia belted a three-run homer in the fifth as UCLA erased a 3-0 deficit to capture the Pac-12 series opener at UW. Chase Strumpf had two hits and two runs for the Bruins (15-7, 31-14). Braiden Ward knocked in a pair for the Huskies (13-9, 23-21).
Cincinnati 4, No. 14 East Carolina 3
In Greenville, N.C., Connor McVey and Manny Rodriguez hit back-to-back homers in the top of the ninth to rally UC past ECU. Treg Haberkorn also went deep for the Bearcats (11-8, 26-22). Dwanya Williams-Sutton had a two-run homer in the first for the Pirates (11-8, 35-13).
UNCW 7-4, Northeastern 6-7 (Game 1 – 10 innings)
In Brookline, Mass., Cole Weiss brought home the winning run with a squeeze bunt in the top of the 10th in the opener as UNCW skipper Mark Scalf recorded his 900th career victory. Scalf is in his 27th season as head coach of the Seahawks (12-8, 30-19). Jake Farrell had a triple, a homer and five RBI in the nightcap for the Huskies (15-5, 31-16).
