In Athens, Ga., Zack Hess allowed eight hits and struck out nine in eight scoreless innings, and Daniel Cabrera drove in the game’s only run as LSU edged Georgia in the SEC. Antoine Duplantis doubled, one of only three hits for the Tigers, and later scored on Cabrera’s sacrifice fly in the seventh inning. Emerson Hancock (5-1) limited LSU (4-0, 17-5) to two hits and struck out four in eight innings for the Bulldogs (3-1, 19-3).

In Starkville, Miss., Auburn scored twice in the sixth, seventh and eighth to rally past MSU. Foscue had a two-run double in a four-run first for the Bulldogs (2-2, 20-3), and a run in the fifth gave the home team a 5-0 lead. Steven Williams and Rankin Woley (2-3, 2 R) homered in the sixth for the Tigers (4-0, 20-2). Matt Scheffler and Will Holland had RBI groundouts in the seventh to pull the visitors within one. Edouard Julien had an RBI double in the eighth to even the score at 5-5, and Julien came home on a single by Kason Howell (2 for 4, R) to make it 6-5. Elliott Anderson (4-0) retired the final two hitters in the seventh to pick up the win. Cody Greenhill allowed one hit in two scoreless frames with two strikeouts to register his fourth save.
In Los Angeles, Kevin Kendall went 3 for 3 with a walk and four runs as UCLA won its Pac-12 series opener over UA. The Bruins (3-1, 15-4) scored in six of their first seven at-bats, including four in the fourth. Garrett Mitchell went 2 for 4 with two doubles, two runs and two RBI for UCLA. Zach Pettway (2-1, 5 H, 2 R, BB) fanned 10 in seven innings in earning the victory. Austin Wells had two hits and two RBI for the Wildcats (2-2, 13-8).
In Stanford, Calif., Duke Kinamon had an RBI single in the fifth to snap a 3-3 tie as Stanford downed Utah to kick off their Pac-12 series. Kinamon had two hits and scored three times, while Maverick Handley added two hits and two runs for the Cardinal (1-0, 13-3). Brendan Beck (1-2, 5.1 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 2 ER, BB, 5 K) earned the win, while Jack Little fanned the final batter of the game to record his fourth save. Oliver Dunn went 2 for 4 with two runs and one RBI for the Utes (1-3, 7-10).
California 3, No. 4 Oregon State 2
In Corvallis, Ore., Darren Baker scored on a wild pitch in the top of the eighth to snap a 2-2 tie as Cal knocked off OSU in the Pac-12 series lid-lifter. Max Flower had an RBI double in the fourth for the Golden Bears (2-2, 11-8), and Quentin Selma (2 for 4) added a run-scoring double in the seventh. Arman Sabouri (1.2 IP, H, BB, 3 K) earned his second save, giving the win to Sam Stoutenborough (3-3, 5.1 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 4 BB, 5 K). Alex McGarry (2 for 4) homered for the Beavers (1-3, 14-4-2).
In Coral Gables, Fla., David Vazquez had a three-run homer to cap a five-run fifth as NCSU won its ACC series opener at UM. Tyler McDonough had three hits and two RBI, while Patrick Bailey added two hits and two runs for the Wolfpack (6-1, 21-1). Baker Nelson (1-0, 2 IP, H, 2 K) earned the win in relief, while Dalton Feeney retired the final four hitters to record his fifth save. Alex Toral went deep for the Hurricanes (3-4, 15-7).

In Nashville, Tenn., Ethan Paul went 5 for 6 with three runs and six RBI as Vandy clinched an SEC series win over UF. Paul had an RBI single and Duvall had a bases-clearing double in a six-run third for the Commodores (3-2, 18-5). Paul added a two-run single in the fourth, an RBI double in the sixth and a two-run triple in the seventh. Ty Duvall went 3 for 3 with two walks, two runs and four RBI for Vandy. Patrick Raby (4-0) tossed six scoreless innings with one hit, six walks and seven strikeouts to take the victory. Blake Reese went 1 for 2 with two walks and a run for the Gators (1-4, 16-9).
Georgia Tech 3, No. 7 Louisville 1
In Louisville, Ky., Georgia Tech scored single runs in each of the final three innings to claim an ACC win at Louisville, Colin Hall had a sacrifice fly in the seventh to tie the game to tie the game at 1-1. Kyle McCann delivered an RBI double in the eighth as the Yellow Jackets (4-3, 15-7) took a 2-1 lead. Baron Radcliff added a homer in the ninth for GT. Xzavion Curry (3-0) allowed one hit and one run over eight innings with two walks and nine strikeouts to record the victory. Tristin English hurled a scoreless ninth with one punchout to notch his third save. Reid Detmers (4-1, 4 H, 2 R, 2 BB) fanned 16 in 7.2 innings for the Cardinals (5-2, 17-5).
In Tuscaloosa, Ala., Hunter Kjerstad went 3 for 5 with a homer and four RBI, and Jacob Nesbit homered and drove in three as Arkansas rolled past Alabama. Isaiah Campbell (5-0) was brilliant again, tossing seven shutout innings with five hits, one walk and seven strikeouts for the Razorbacks (4-0, 19-3). Nesbit finished 2 for 4, and Matt Goodheart and Jack Kenley each had three hits and two runs as Arkansas piled up 15 hits. John Trousdale went 2 for 4 with a run for Bama (1-3, 18-5).
In Fort Worth, Texas, Adam Oviedo had an RBI single to cap a three-run bottom of the ninth as TCU nipped UT to begin their Big 12 series. After even scoreless innings, Duke Ellis (2 for 3) stole home in the top of the eighth and Michael McCann (2 for 3) delivered a sacrifice fly in the ninth as the Longhorns (2-2, 16-9) took a 2-0 lead. Alex Isola (1 for 3) was hit by a pitch to lead off the bottom of the ninth for the Horned Frogs (1-0, 14-6) and moved to second on a walk to Jake Guenther. A pair of wild pitches plated Isola and moved pinch-runner Brad Czerniejewski to third. After a walk to Austin Henry (1 for 3), Johnny Rizer (2 for 4) had a base hit to drive in Czerniejewski and send Henry to third. Oviedo (2 for 4) singled to left to deliver Henry with the game-winning run.
Virginia Tech 4, No. 13 North Carolina 1
In Blacksburg, Va., Ian Seymour went the distance with six strikeouts as VT took the ACC series opener with UNC. Seymour (4-0) allowed three hits, one walk and one run. Jake Owens (3 for 5) had a two-run single in the second to start the scoring for the Hokies (4-3, 16-6). A two-run dinger by Luke Horanski in the fifth gave the home team a 4-0 advantage. Dylan Harris had a run-scoring single in the ninth for the Tar Heels (2-5, 16-7).
No. 15 Arizona State 12, Oregon 2
In Eugene, Ore., Hunter Bishop homered twice as ASU won at Oregon to begin their Pac-12 series and remain undefeated. Spencer Torkelson also went deep and drove in two for the Sun Devils (4-0, 21-0). Tanner Smith went 1 for 4 with one RBI for the Ducks (1-3, 11-8).
No. 16 Texas Tech 10, Michigan 3
In Lubbock, Texas, Cameron Warren went 3 for 4 and had two RBI singles, one each in the sixth and seventh innings, as Texas Tech broke from a 2-2 game with five in sixth and three more in the seventh in beating Michigan for the second straight day. Gabe Holt and Braxton Fulford also drove in two runs apiece for the Red Raiders (14-5). Caleb Kilian allowed one earned run and struck out six in six innings for Texas Tech. Jack Blomgren went 2 for 4 with an RBI, and Jesse Franklin hit a solo homer for the Wolverines (14-6).

In Conway, S.C., Jake Wright went 3 for 4 with a double and a solo homer, and Zach Biermann launched a two-run homer as Coastal Carolina slipped past Troy in the Sun Belt. Zach McCambley (4-0) struck out 10 and allowed three hits in five scoreless innings for the Chanticleers (4-0, 17-4-1). Rigsby Mosley went 3 for 5 with a run for the Trojans (0-4, 10-12).

In Lexington, Ky., Braden Shewmake delivered an RBI single in the seventh to snap a 3-3 tie as TAMU rallied past UK. Ryan Shinn (3 for 5) had a solo homer in the first and a two-run shot in the third as the Wildcats (0-4, 14-8) took a 3-0 lead. Hunter Coleman had an RBI double in the fourth for the Aggies (3-1, 19-5), and a two-run dinger by Shewmake (3 for 5) in the fifth leveled the score at 3-3.

In Greenville, N.C., ECU scored multiple runs in each of the first three innings in outscoring UCF to begin their American series. Spencer Brickhouse had three hits and four RBI, while Lane Hoover went 2 for 4 with two runs and three RBI for the Pirates (1-0, 16-6). Matthew Mika went 2 for 3 with a homer, two walks, two runs and three RBI for the Knights (0-1, 15-7).
