In Columbia, S.C., Andrew Eyster did it again. For the second straight game, Eyster delivered the game-winning hit, singling to score Brady Allen in the bottom of the ninth as South Carolina completed a two-game sweep of Clemson. Eyster went 3 for 5 and drove in two, and Wes Clarke remained red-hot, going 3 for 4 with two homers – giving him eight on the young season – three runs and four RBI for the Gamecocks (6-0). Jonathan French and Regan Reid each drove in two runs for the Tigers (3-2).

No. 7 Mississippi State 5, Tulane 4 (box score)

In Starkville, Miss., Tanner Allen singled in a pair of runs in the bottom of the ninth inning as Mississippi State won in walkoff fashion for the second straight day, claiming its series with Tulane. The Green Wave (3-4) took a 4-3 lead on a two-run homer from Luis Aviles. Earlier, Karmren James gave the Bulldogs (5-2) a one-run lead with a two-run homer as part of a three-run sixth.

Pittsburgh 9, No. 17 Florida State 7 (13) (box score)

In Tallahassee, Fla., Nico Popa hit a two-run homer to tie the game in the ninth to force extras, and Kyle Hess had a two-run double in the 13th inning as Pittsburgh completed an ACC sweep of Florida State, its first ACC road sweep in program history. David Yanni had two hits and four RBI for the Panthers (3-0, 6-1), whose bullpen didn’t allow a run after the sixth inning, with six relievers combining to allow two hits and striking out 10 from the seventh inning on. Elijah Cabell went 2 for 5 with a monster home run and two RBI for the Seminoles (2-4, 0-3).

Georgia Tech 8, No. 12 NC State 4 (box score)

In Raleigh, N.C., Drew Compton went 2 for 4 with a run and two RBI, and Austin Wilhite went 2 for 4 with a solo homer and two runs as Georgia Tech completed an ACC sweep of NC State. The road sweep was the first conference road sweep for the Yellow Jackets (3-0, 6-1) since 2011.

Virginia Tech 9, No. 3 Miami 6 (box score)

In Coral Gables, Fla., Tanner Schobel went 2 for 5 with four RBI, and Gavin Cross and Kevin Madden each added two hits, two runs and two RBI as Virginia Tech won its ACC series with Miami. The Hokies (2-1, 5-1) got four innings of scoreless relief from Jaison Heard (W, 2 IP, 2 H, 5 K) and Shane Connolly (2 IP, 2 H), who earned his third save. Yohandy Morales went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and three RBI for the Hurricanes (1-2, 3-3).

No. 2 Vanderbilt 12-17, Georgia State 2-6 (Game 1Game 2)

In Nashville, Parker Noland went 3 for 5 with two doubles, a homer, two runs and four RBI in the first game of a doubleheader, and Maxwell Romero went 3 for 3 with two homers, three runs and seven RBI and Dominic Keegan added a homer, two hits, two runs and six RBI in the second game as Vanderbilt cruised to a Sunday sweep of Georgia State. Kumar Rocker tossed five scoreless innings with three hits and six strikeouts in the first game against the Panthers, who dropped three straight after winning the opener Friday.

In Fayetteville, Ark., Matt Goodheart and Brady Stevens each had a homer, two hits and two RBI as Arkansas completed a four-game sweep of SEMO with a five-inning win.

No. 5 Florida 10, Samford 9 (box score)

In Gainesville, Fla., Jacob Young went 4 for 5, including the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning as Florida completed a sweep of Samford. Jud Fabian had a homer, two hits and four RBI, and Coby Halter added two hits, two runs and two RBI for the Gators (6-2). Sonny DiChiara went 3 for 5 with a homer, three runs and three RBI for the Bulldogs, who scored five times in the sixth for an 8-6 lead.

No. 8 Virginia 3, North Carolina 2 (box score)

In Chapel Hill, N.C., Mike Vasil tossed six scoreless innings with four hits and five strikeouts, and Nic Kent went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI as Virginia avoided an ACC sweep at North Carolina. Joey Lancellotti allowed four hits and struck out six in four scoreless innings for the Tar Heels, who scored twice in the seventh. All three games in the series were decided by one run, a series that saw 13 runs scored over the weekend.

No. 9 UCLA 4, UC Irvine 0 (box score)

In Los Angeles, Nick Nastrini and three relievers combined on a three-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts, and Kyle Karros drove in two runs as UCLA won the rubber game of its series with UC Irvine. Nastrini tossed six innings, allowing one hit, walking five and striking out seven for the Bruins (4-3). Jake Palmer had two of the three hits for the Anteaters (4-2).

In Lubbock, Texas, Dylan Neuse went 2 for 4 with two runs and three RBI, and Kurt Wilson and Nate Rombach each drove in two as Texas Tech completed a sweep of Houston Baptist.

In Malibu, Calif., Marcos Castanon went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and four RBI as UCSB scored six times in the first two innings en route to a sweep of Pepperdine. Cory Lewis allowed three hits and struck out nine in five scoreless innings for the Gauchos (6-1).

In Knoxville, Tenn., Luc Lipcius scored the game-winning run on a throwing error in the bottom of the ninth as Tennessee rebounded from a doubleheader sweep to split its four-game series with Indiana State.

Boston College 5, No. 20 Duke 2 (box score)

In Durham, N.C., Luke Gold and Sal Frelick each homered and drove in two, and Jack Cunningham went 4 for 4 with a run as Boston College captured its series with Duke. Emmet Sheehan worked six innings with two runs and nine strikeouts for the Eagles.
