In Starkville, Miss., Luke Hancock ripped a walk-off grand slam to cap a six-run ninth inning as Mississippi State rallied from a 5-3 deficit to avoid falling to Tulane for the second straight day. Logan Tanner had a two-run single to tie the game at 5. After an intentional walk to set up a force, Hancock ended the game in style. North Carolina 2, No. 7 Virginia 1 (box score)

In Chapel Hill, N.C., Max Carlson tossed 5.1 innings of one-run ball, and Nik Pry worked 3.2 scoreless innings with one hit and seven strikeouts as North Carolina clinched its ACC series with Virginia. Justice Thompson scored both runs for the Tar Heels (2-0, 6-0) in a game that totaled nine hits. Griff McGarry struck out nine and allowed one earned run in five innings, and Logan Michaels went 2 for 4 with a run for the Cavaliers (0-2, 3-3).

No. 2 Vanderbilt 5, Georgia State 4 (box score)

In Nashville, Carter Young went 2 for 3 with two runs and two RBI, including a solo homer in the seventh inning that broke a 4-4 tie as Vanderbilt evened its series with Georgia State. Dominic Keegan also homered, going 2 for 3 with two RBI for the Commodores (4-1). DeAngelo Abboud hit a solo homer for the Panthers (3-4).

In Fayetteville, Ark., Christian Franklin went 4 for 5 with a homer, two runs and three RBI as Arkansas scored eight runs in the first three innings en route to a win over SEMO. Peyton Pallette worked five scoreless innings with three hits and eight strikeouts for the Razorbacks (6-0). Austin Blazevic had two of the six hits for the Redhawks (2-4).

No. 5 Louisville 4-9, Western Illinois 1-4 (Game 1Game 2)

In Louisville, Ky., Lucas Dunn went 3 for 4 with a double, homer and two RBI as Louisville took the first game of a doubleheader with Western Illinois. In the nightcap, Henry Davis and Levi Usher each drove in a pair of runs for the Cardinals (6-1), who rebounded from being upset by the Leathernecks (1-2) on Friday. Trenton Bauer had two RBI in the second game for WIU.

No. 6 Florida 18, Samford 2 (box score)

In Gainesville, Fla., Nathan Hickey went 2 for 4 with a triple, grand slam, three runs and six RBI as Florida routed Samford. Jack Leftwich allowed two earned runs and struck out six in 5.2 innings for the Gators (5-2). Kaden Dreier went 2 for 3 with a solo homer for Samford (3-3).

UC Irvine 7, No. 9 UCLA 3 (box score)

In Irvine, Calif., Jacob Castro went 2 for 3 with a run and three RBI, and Justin Torres went 2 for 4 with two runs and two RBI as UC Irvine scored four times in the first and three more in the third in evening its series with UCLA. Michael Frias hurled 2.2 scoreless innings with five strikeouts to pick up the win for the Anteaters (4-1). Kevin Kendall went 2 for 4 with two runs for the Bruins (3-3).

In Lubbock, Texas, Patrick Monteverde was brilliant, allowing two hits and striking out nine in seven scoreless innings as Texas Tech beat Houston Baptist for the second straight day. Cody Masters went 2 for 4 with two doubles, two runs and two RBI, and Nate Rombach added two hits and two RBI for the Red Raiders (2-3), who scored three in the fourth innings and scored in their final three at-bats to pull away. Lane Botkin, who also plays football at Houston Baptist, went 2 for 3 with a run.

No. 12 UCSB 9-5, Pepperdine 7-0 (Game 1Game 2)

In Santa Barbara, Calif., Rodney Boone and Ryan Harvey combined on a one-hit shutout as UCSB completed a doubleheader sweep of Pepperdine. Christian Kirtley had three hits and two RBI, and Zach Rodriguez went 3 for 3 with two runs for the Gauchos (5-1). In the first game, Cole Cummings and Steele Ledford each had two RBI as UCSB scored three in the eighth inning and hung on for a win. Billy Cook hit a grand slam to give the Waves (1-5) a 5-0 lead in the third inning.

In Raleigh, N.C., Luke Waddell went 3 for 5 with two runs and three RBI, a three-run homer to spur a five-run eighth inning as Georgia Tech topped NC State for the second straight day. Jackson Finley closed with seven strikeouts and two hits over three scoreless innings for the Yellow Jackets (2-0, 5-1). Luca Tresh went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI for the Wolfpack (0-2, 2-3).
