Luke Heyman homered in the bottom of the frame for the Gators (2-1, 12-7) to level the score at 2-2. Shelnut went 2 for 3 with a double, a homer, a walk, two runs and two RBI. Brandon Neely (1-0) tossed two hitless innings with two walks and four strikeouts to earn the win. Luke McNeillie worked a scoreless ninth with one punchout for his first save.
