In Austin, Texas, Brian Celsi went 4 for 6 with four RBI to fuel a furious comeback as Cal rallied from a 7-0 deficit with two outs in the eighth inning to stun Texas in extra innings and complete a four-game sweep. Per a Golden Bears release, Cal is the first team to ever sweep Texas in a four-game series. Celsi had a two-run single in the eighth to make it 7-2 before the Golden Bears (9-3) scored five runs with two outs in the ninth. Brenden Farney had a RBI single before Nick Halamandaris drove in two and Celsi contributed an infield single to score another run. The tying run came in on an error. In the 11th, Celsi and Ripken Reyes drove in runs, and another run came home on another error. Kacy Clemens homered and drove in three, and Bret Boswell had three hits and three runs for the Longhorns (5-7).
St. John’s 5, No. 11 Florida State 1
In Tallahassee, Fla., Ryan McAuliffe allowed one run over the first five innings and Thomas Hackimer struck out a career-best seven in 3.2 innings as St. John’s downed Florida State. McAuliffe (1-0) gave up six hits, two walks and one run. Hackimer allowed two hits and two walks in recording his second save. John Shaw went 2 for 5 with one run and one RBI, while Alex Caruso went 1 for 2 with two runs for the Red Storm (3-6). Quincy Nieporte had two hits and a run for the Seminoles (8-3).
Monmouth 6, No. 12 Virginia 4
In Charlottesville, Va., Chris Gaetano had three hits and two RBI as Monmouth defeated Virginia. Shaine Hughes went 3 for 5 with two runs for the Hawks (3-7). Monmouth scored three in the third, one in the fifth and two insurance runs in the eighth. In Gainesville, Fla., Florida rallied from a 3-0 deficit to complete a three-game sweep of Dartmouth and extend its win streak to six. Dalton Guthrie had two hits and two RBI, while Buddy Reed and JJ Schwarz also knocked in two for the Gators (12-1). Alex Faedo (3-0, 5 IP, 6 H, 3 R, BB, 4 K) earned the win. Michael Ketchmark had three hits, including a double, and two RBI, while Kyle Holbrook went 2 for 4 with a homer and three runs for the Big Green (0-6).

In Palo Alto, Calif., Jason Delay had two hits and two RBI, and Will Toffey added two RBI as Vanderbilt captured its series against Stanford. In College Station, Texas, Ryne Birk belted a two-run homer to spark a nine-run seventh as Texas A&M completed a three-game sweep of Yale. Birk added a run-scoring triple later in the frame. He went 4 for 4 with three runs and three RBI, while Hunter Melton had two hits and two RBI for the Aggies (11-1). Turner Larkins (1-0, 3 IP, 2 H, K) earned the win in relief. In Fort Worth, Texas, TCU scored five in the third and 10 in the fourth to clinch a series victory over Gonzaga. Evan Skoug went 2 for 3 with a double, a triple, two runs and four RBI, while Luken Baker was 3 for 5 with a double, two runs and two RBI for the Horned Frogs (9-2). Tyler Frost had two hits for the Bulldogs (5-6).
