Following a 4-1 week, Arkansas maintained its hold on the top spot in the CBI Composite Poll.

The Razorbacks beat UAPB twice before taking two of three from Texas A&M. Arkansas is first in all six polls.

Vanderbilt went 3-1 and moved up one spot to second. The Commodores downed EKU before taking two of three at No. 4 Tennessee. Vandy is second in four polls, third in one and sixth in the other.

Texas went 5-0 and slid one place to third. The Longhorns beat Nevada twice and took three from Abilene Christian. UT is second in one poll, third in four polls and fifth in the other.

Mississippi State had a 3-1 week and rose one spot to fourth. The Dawgs downed Arkansas State before taking two of three from Ole Miss. MSU is second in one poll and fourth in the other five.

Tennessee had a 2-2 week and dropped one spot to fifth. The Vols won at Western Carolina before losing two of three at home to third-ranked Vanderbilt. UT is fifth in two polls, sixth in two polls, seventh in one and 10th in the other.

Michigan returned to the CBI Composite Poll, while Virginia Tech dropped out.

There are seven SEC schools in the CBI Composite Poll, including four of the top five spots. There are four teams from the Big 12, three from the ACC and Pac-12, and single entries from the American, Big Ten and Conference USA.
