In Durham, N.C., Peter Lemke allowed one run over 7.2 innings as Duke evened its ACC series with UNC. Lemke (2-4) gave up five hits and three walks with one strikeout. Ben Dean worked the final 1.1 innings with one hit and four punchouts to notch his first save. The Blue Devils (9-14, 23-22) plated three unearned runs in the first. Collin Anderson and Coltin Quagliano both had two hits for Duke. Jake Schaffner had two hits for the Tar Heels (16-7, 35-8-1), who stranded 11.
No. 1 UCLA 6, Sacramento State 5 (box score)
In Los Angeles, UCLA scored one in the eighth and two in the ninth to rally past SSU in their series opener. Mulivai Levu homered in the eighth to pull the Bruins (38-3) within one at 5-4. Roman Martin delivered an RBI single with two away to tie the game, his third hit of the game, and Roch Cholowsky came home on an errant throw to give UCLA the victory. Erick Dessens had a double, a homer and three RBI for the Hornets (19-24).

In Atlanta, Georgia Tech scored four in the bottom of the fifth to erase a 4-1 deficit in an ACC-series opening win over WFU. Jarren Advincula homered and knocked in two for the Yellow Jackets (17-5, 34-7). Kade Lewis had two hits, including a homer, and three RBI for the Demon Deacons (11-11, 28-15).

In Nashville, Tenn., Aiden Robbins homered twice and drove in three as UT took Game 1 of its SEC series at Vandy. Adrian Rodrigues had three hits, including a dinger, and three RBI for the Longhorns (12-6, 31-8). Dylan Volantis (6-0, 4 H, 1 R, 1 BB) fanned 11 in six innings for UT.
