In Chapel Hill, N.C., leadoff man Tanner Morris went 3 for 5 with two runs and four RBI, and Brendan Rivoli added three hits and three RBI as Virginia knocked off North Carolina. The Cavaliers (10-12, 26-18) scored five runs in the eighth inning, and six of their 12 runs were unearned. Noah Murdock (3-4) picked up the win with 5.1 innings, four runs, four walks and eight strikeouts. Danny Serretti and Ashton McGee each had two hits and two RBI for the Tar Heels (13-9, 31-12).

Arizona 6, No. 2 Stanford 3

In Stanford, Calif., Justin Wylie knocked in five as Arizona knocked off Stanford in their Pac-12 series opener. Wylie had a sacrifice fly in the second to begin the scoring and added a two-run single in the eighth to finish the scoring. Nick Quintana had a two-run homer in the fifth for the Wildcats (7-12, 19-20). Will Matthiessen (3 for 4) went deep for the Cardinal (13-3, 29-7).

No. 10 Mississippi State 19, No. 4 Georgia 3

In Starkville, Miss., Justin Foscue had three doubles and scored three times as MSU downed UGA in the SEC series opener. Dustin Skelton added a three-run homer in the sixth for the home Bulldogs (11-8, 34-9). Ethan Small (5-1, 2 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 BB) fanned 11 in six innings in registering the victory. LJ Talley went deep for the visiting Bulldogs (13-6, 33-10).

No. 18 Ole Miss 13, No. 9 Texas A&M 3

In Oxford, Miss., Tyler Keenan had a three-run homer to cap a six-run sixth as Ole Miss clinched an SEC series victory over TAMU. Anthony Servideo (3 for 4, 2B, 3 R, 2 RBI) also went deep for the Rebels (12-8, 29-15). Doug Nikhazy (5-3, 7 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 1 ER) fanned 10 in recording the win. Braden Shewmake (2 for 3, 2 RBI) went deep for the Aggies (11-8-1, 30-14-1).

No. 17 Texas Tech 12, No. 20 Oklahoma State 4

In Lubbock, Texas, Dylan Neuse had a two-run triple to snap a 1-1 tie in the third and Cole Stillwell added a three-run double later in the frame as TTU won the Big 12 series opener vs. OSU. Josh Jung went 2 for 3 with two walks, two runs and four RBI for the Red Raiders (9-7, 27-13). Andrew Navigato and Trevor Boone both homered for the Cowboys (10-6, 25-14).

No. 1 UCLA 5, Utah 0

In Los Angeles, Ryan Garcia tossed a two-hit shutout with 14 strikeouts as UCLA blanked Utah to begin their Pac-12 series. Garcia (5-0) faced two over the minimum and walked one. Jack Stronach went 1 for 2 with a walk, a run and two RBI for the Bruins (12-4, 32-7). Matt Richardson had both hits for the Utes (4-13, 12-23).

No. 3 Oregon State 18, Washington State 4

In Corvallis, Ore., Adley Rutschman had a grand slam and drove in five as OSU overwhelmed WSU to begin their Pac-12 set. Rutschman had a sacrifice fly in the fifth and his granny highlighted a nine-run seventh. Kyler McMahan had three hits and four RBI, while Joe Casey went 3 for 4 with three runs for the Beavers (15-4, 29-10-1). Brandon Eisert (8-1, 6 IP, 10 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 3 K) earned the win, while Joey Mundt (3 IP, 2 H, BB, 4 K) recorded his first save. Jack Smith went 2 for 4 with a double, one run and one RBI for the Cougars (1-14-1, 8-29-1).

In Nashville, Tenn., Stephen Scott had a three-run homer to cap a four-run first as VU clinched an SEC series win over Auburn. Austin Martin (3 for 5, R) and Philip Clarke (3 for 4) both had two doubles for the Commodores (14-6, 33-9). Kumar Rocker (5-4, 7 IP, 6 H, 2 R, BB, 10 K) earned the win, while Hugh Fisher (2 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, 3 K) recorded his third save. Ryan Bliss had two hits and a run for the Tigers (10-10, 27-16).

In Fayetteville, Ark., Trevor Ezell homered in the sixth to snap a 7-7 tie and put Arkansas ahead for good in its SEC series opener against UT. Jacob Nesbit had three hits and knocked in six for the Razorbacks (13-6, 32-11). Nesbit had a sacrifice fly in the third, a three-run homer in the fifth and a two-run double in the sixth. Evan Russell had two hits and four RBI for the Volunteers (9-10, 31-12).

In Louisville, Ky., Alex Binelas went 5 for 6, hitting for the cycle, with five runs and eight RBI as Louisville rolled past Alabama A&M. Reid Detmers struck out 12 and allowed one hit in five scoreless innings for the Cardinals (33-9).

UC Riverside 9, No. 8 UC Santa Barbara 4

In Riverside, Calif., Connor Cannon went 2 for 4 with two homers and four RBI, and Taylor Yeager went 2 for 4 with a homer, three runs and three RBI as UC Riverside knocked off UC Santa Barbara. Travis Bohall added two hits and two runs for Riverside (4-6, 14-25), which got three innings of solid relief from Hayden Petrovick (4-1). Thomas Rowan drove in two, and Eric Yang had two hits, two runs and an RBI for the Gauchos (8-2, 31-6).

In Greenville, N.C., Jake Washer had two hits and three RBI, and Spencer Brickhouse homered, scored three times and drove in two as East Carolina rolled past Tulane. Bryant Packard (2 for 4, 2 RBI), Nick Barber (2 for 2, 2 R) and Seth Caddell also homered for the Pirates (12-1, 32-10). Jake Agnos (6-2) tossed five scoreless innings, mixing nine strikeouts with two hits and five walks. Jonathon Artigues had two hits for the Green Wave (8-4, 26-15).

Washington 10, No. 12 Arizona State 6

In Seattle, Joe Wainhouse hit a three-run homer, and Connor Blair went 2 for 5 with two runs and three RBI as Washington scored nine runs in the first two inning of a Pac-12 win over Arizona State. Colton Cassinelli added two RBI, and Nick Kahle walked four times and scored three runs for the Huskies (19-17). Spencer Torkelson had two hits, including a two-run homer, for the Sun Devils (31-9).

Alabama 6, No. 13 LSU 1

In Tuscaloosa, Ala., Sam Finnerty tossed six scoreless innings with five hits and six strikeouts, and battery-mate Brett Auerbach went 4 for 4 with a run and two RBI as Alabama topped LSU. T.J. Reeves and Tyler Gentry each hit solo homers for the Crimson Tide (5-14, 26-17) in the bottom of the first inning. Drew Bianco drove in the lone run for the Tigers (11-8, 27-16).

No. 14 Georgia Tech 8, Clemson 7

In Atlanta, Kyle McCann homered, scored twice and drove in two, and Tristan English added two hits, two runs and an RBI as Georgia Tech held off Clemson. Logan Davidson (2 for 3, 3 RBI) hit a two-run homer in the ninth, but English was able to close out the Tigers (11-11, 26-17). The Yellow Jackets (13-7, 26-17) picked up the win despite being outhit 13-7.

Notre Dame 5, No. 16 NC State 4

In Notre Dame, Ind., Jack Zyska had a two-run double in the seventh to erase a 4-3 deficit as ND won the ACC series opener over NCSU. Jared Miller homered for the Fighting Irish (11-11, 18-22). Andrew Belcik (1-3) tossed a hitless, scoreless seventh with one walk and one strikeout to pick up the win, while Tommy Vail tossed two hitless, scoreless frames with one walk and four punchouts to record his fourth save. Jonny Butler (2 for 5, 2 RBI) and Luca Tresh both went deep for the Wolfpack (13-9, 32-11).

No. 19 West Virginia 3, Texas 2

In Austin, Texas, TJ Lake had a pinch-hit two-run homer in the eighth to erase a 1-0 deficit and Marques Inman went deep in the ninth to snap a 2-2 deadlock as WVU won at UT to kick off their Big 12 series. The Mountaineers (9-7, 25-14) were held to three hits. Eric Kennedy went 4 for 4 and scored both runs for the Longhorns (5-10, 24-20).
