There are no repeat teams among the eight in this year’s College World Series field.

2025: Arizona, Arkansas, Coastal Carolina, Louisville, LSU, Murray State, Oregon State, UCLA

2024: Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, North Carolina, NC State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Virginia

This is the first time since 1957 to have no repeat teams in the field.

1957: California, UConn, Florida State, Iowa State, Northern Colorado, Notre Dame, Penn State, Texas

1956: Arizona, Bradley, Minnesota, Ole Miss, New Hampshire, NYU, Washington State, Wyoming

Arizona is making its 19th CWS appearance and first since 2021. Arizona has won four national championships.

Arkansas is making its 12th CWS appearance and first since 2022. Arkansas is looking for its first national championship and has been runner-up twice.

Coastal Carolina is making its second CWS appearance and first since 2016. Coastal Carolina won the national championship in its only appearance in 2016.

Louisville is making its sixth CWS appearance and first since 2019. Louisville is looking for its first national championship and has one third-place finish.

LSU is making its 20th CWS appearance and first since 2023. LSU has won seven national championships.

Murray State is making its first CWS appearance.

Oregon State is making its eighth CWS appearance and first since 2018. Oregon State has won three national championships.

UCLA is making its sixth CWS appearance and first since 2013. UCLA has won one national championship.

There are seven states represented in this year’s CWS field, including two from Kentucky (Murray State, Louisville).

The SEC has two teams in this year’s CWS field and single entities from the ACC, Big 12, Big 10, MVC, Sun Belt and one independent.

Each of the past five national champs have been from the SEC: Vanderbilt in 2019, Mississippi State in 2021, Ole Miss in 2022, LSU in 2023 and Tennessee in 2024.
