After a 4-0 week to extend its win streak to a school-record 19, Oregon State remains the unanimous No. 1 in the CBI Composite Poll.
The Beavers won at St. Mary’s and swept a three-game Pac-12 series at No. 15 Stanford. OSU was first in all five national polls.
Louisville had a 3-1 week to stay in second. The Cardinals defeated Western Kentucky and won their ACC series at No. 19 Virginia. UL was second in all five polls.
TCU went 5-0 and climbed one spot to third. The Horned Frogs defeated UTRGV twice and swept a three-game Big 12 set at Kansas State. TCU was third in all five polls.
Clemson had a 4-1 week and rose one place to fourth. The Tigers topped Furman and Winthrop before winning their ACC series at Georgia Tech. Clemson was fourth in three polls and fifth in the other two.
North Carolina went 4-0 and jumped two spots to fifth, giving the ACC three of the top five teams. The Tar Heels beat Coastal Carolina and swept a three-game ACC set at No. 10 Florida State. UNC was fourth in one poll, fifth in three polls and sixth in the other poll.
Southern Miss and Wake Forest moved into the poll, while Stanford and Virginia dropped out.
There are six teams in the poll from the SEC, five from the ACC, three from the Big 12, two from the Pac-12, and single entries from the Atlantic Sun, Big East, Big West and Conference USA.
