After a 2-0 week, Miami has climbed to the top spot in the CBI Composite Poll.
The Hurricanes won at FGCU and won at Notre Dame in the only game of that ACC series. Miami is first in all five polls.
Florida went 2-2 and dropped one place to second. The Gators defeated Jacksonville before losing a home SEC series to Mississippi State. UF is second in two polls and third in three polls.
After its SEC series win at Florida, Mississippi State rose three spots to third. The Bulldogs are second in two polls, fourth in one poll, fifth in one poll and eighth in the other poll.
Texas A&M had a 3-1 week and moved up one place to fourth. The Aggies lost at Rice before sweeping a three-game SEC set from Georgia. Texas A&M is third in two polls, fourth in one poll, sixth in one poll and eighth in the other poll.
Florida State went 3-2 and climbed four spots to fifth. The Seminoles split two games with Texas Tech before taking two of three from Louisville in an ACC series. FSU is fourth in two polls, fifth in one poll and sixth in the other two polls.
NC State, Texas Tech and South Alabama entered the poll, while Clemson, Michigan and Oklahoma State fall out.
There are eight teams from the SEC in this week’s poll. There are five from the ACC, two each from the Big 12 and Pac-12, and single entries from the Big West, Conference USA and Sun Belt.
