Following a 5-0 week, including a three-game sweep at Miami over the weekend, Florida rose to the top spot in the CBI Composite Poll.

The CBI Composite Poll used five of the six national polls this week. The USA Today Coaches Poll has not yet been updated since its preseason poll.

The Gators are first in four of the polls and second in the other.

Vanderbilt also had a 5-0 week to take second. The Commodores were second in one poll, third in two polls, fourth in one poll and fifth in the other.

Texas Tech had a 2-1 weekend to hold onto third, just one point behind Vandy. The Red Raiders are second in one poll, third in one poll, fourth in two polls and fifth in the other.

Arkansas had a four-game sweep of Gonzaga and moved up three spots to fourth. The Razorbacks have a second, third, fifth, sixth and ninth in the five polls.

Louisville went 3-1 and dropped to fifth. The Cardinals are second in one poll, third in one poll, seventh in two polls and ninth in the other.

There are nine teams in this week’s poll from the SEC. There are five from the ACC, two from the Big 12 and Pac-12, and single entries from the American and Big Ten.
