Josh Rivera went 2 for 4 with a solo homer and two RBI, the second giving the Gators (8-0) a two-run cushion in the ninth. Raymond Gil drove in all three runs, including a two-run homer that made it 4-3 in the eighth, for the Hurricanes (4-3).

UCF 12, No. 10 Auburn 2 (box score)

In Auburn, Ala., Tom Josten and Pablo Ruiz had two-run hoers in a five-run third as UCF completed the three-game sweep at Auburn. Ruiz (2B, 2 R, 3 RBI), Dalton Wingo (2 2B, 2 R) and Nick Romano (2 R, 2 RBI) each had four hits for the Knights (7-1). Joe Sheridan (1-0, 5 IP, 5 H, R, BB, 5 K) earned the victory. Judd Ward drove in both runs for the Tigers (5-3).

In Athens, Ga., Ethan Heinrich tossed 4.2 innings of scoreless relief, and Connor Henriques’ two-run homer broke a 4-4 tie in the eighth inning as Santa Clara salvaged the final game of a four-game set with Georgia. Jason Dicochea went 3 for 4 with two runs and an RBI for the Broncos (6-3). Ben Anderson led the way for the Bulldogs (7-1) with two hits, two RBI and a run.

Oregon State 7, No. 8 Mississippi State 2 (box score)

In Starkville, Miss., Troy Claunch had a two-run double to cap a four-run eighth as OSU salvaged the finale of its three-game series at MSU. Andy Armstrong had four hits and a run for the Beavers (3-4). Cooper Hjerpe (1-1, 3.1 IP, 4 K) earned the win in relief. Justin Foscue homered and added an RBI double for the Bulldogs (5-1).

In Nashville, Jake Elder struck out 11 and allowed two earned runs in 5.2 innings as Vanderbilt completed a sweep of UIC. Will Duff and Carter Young each had two hits and an RBI, and Isaiah Thomas hit a solo homer and scored twice for the Commodores (6-2). Joshua Figueroa hit a two-run homer for the Flames (0-7).

In Louisville, Ky., Danny Oriente and Justin Lavey each drove in three, and Ben Metzinger added three hits and three runs as Louisville completed a sweep of Valpo. Jared Poland (3 for 5, R, 2 RBI) and Levi Usher (2 for 3, 3 R, 2 RBI) also had big games for the Cardinals (4-3), who scored six in the sixth to build a 12-5 lead. Nolan Tucker went 3 for 4 with a homer and four RBI for the Crusaders (1-5).

In Round Rock, Texas, Brian Klein’s single in the bottom of the 10th inning scored Braxton Fulford as Texas Tech edged Houston to finish the Round Rock Classic 2-1. Dru Baker went 2 for 2 with a solo homer and two RBI for the Red Raiders (6-1), whose five pitchers combined to strike out 14. Jared Pettitte allowed two earned runs over 5.1 innings for the Cougars (2-4).

In Phoenix, Trevor Hauver ripped a late two-run homer and scored three times, and Spencer Torkelson went 2 for 3 with a solo homer and three runs as Arizona State completed a sweep of Boston College. Drew Swift added two hits and two RBI for the Sun Devils (5-3). Cody Morissette went 3 for 4 with two RBI for the Eagles (3-4).

In Fayetteville, Ark., Matt Goodheart went 3 for 5 with a run and three RBI, and Robert Moore added two hits, a run and two RBI as Arkansas completed a sweep of Gonzaga. In Los Angeles, Jesse Bergin fanned nine in 5.1 innings as UCLA blanked SMC to complete the three-game sweep. Bergin (2-0) allowed four hits and walked one. Holden Powell struck out three over the final 1.2 innings to record his second save. Michael Curialle had an RBI single and scored in the third for the Bruins (7-0). Gio Diaz had two hits for the Gaels (2-5).

Connecticut 9, No. 12 Michigan 2 (box score)

In Port St. Lucie, Fla., Paul Gozzo ripped a two-run homer as part of a six-run fifth inning and finished with three RBI as Connecticut captured its weekend series against Michigan. The Huskies (3-3), who also beat the Wolverines (4-3) in Arizona last weekend, got five strong innings from Nick Krauth, who allowed two hits, one earned run and struck out five. Reggie Crawford went 4 for 4 with two runs and an RBI for UConn.

No. 13 LSU 10, Eastern Kentucky 2 (box score)

In Baton Rouge, La., Cade Beloso went 3 for 3 with three RBI, and Alex Milazzo scored three times and drove in another run as LSU won its series with Eastern Kentucky. AJ Labas allowed two earned runs and struck out six over seven innings as the Tigers (5-3) rebounded from losing the opener on Friday. A.J. Lewis drove in a pair of runs for the Colonels (4-2).

No. 14 Florida State 10, Cincinnati 1 (box score)

In Tallahassee, Fla., Elijah Cabell ripped a three-run homer and finished with four RBI – part of a three-homer, 11-RBI weekend – as Florida State scored seven times in the third inning to complete a sweep of Cincinnati. Conor Grady allowed three hits, one earned run and struck out six in five innings for the Seminoles (6-1). Griffin Merritt went 2 for 4 with a solo homer for the Bearcats (0-5).

No. 15 Duke 3, Cornell 1 (box score)

In Durham, N.C., Michael Rothenberg went 2 for 4 with an RBI, and four Duke pitchers, led by Jack Carey’s four innings, combined to allow one run as Duke swept Cornell. The Blue Devils (6-1) allowed only one run all weekend, an RBI from Cornell’s Joe Hollerbach. John Natoli tossed five scoreless innings with three hits and six strikeouts for the Big Red (0-3), who allowed only five runs the final two games of the series.
