McEntire (2-2) allowed three hits and one walk with nine strikeouts.
“Just a really well-pitched game by Will and gave us an opportunity to build on a lead,” Arkansas head coach Dave Van Horn said. “Obviously offensively we got some big hits, big two-out hits.”
Braydon Webb doubled on the game’s first pitch and scored on a single by Stovall to give the Razorbacks a 1-0 lead.
Chris Lanzilli had an RBI single and Robert Moore delivered a two-run double in the third as the advantage grew to 4-0.
One inning later, Michael Turner had a two-run double and Lanzilli smacked a two-run homer as the advantage grew to 8-0.
Turner’s run-scoring single in the sixth gave Arkansas a 9-0 lead.
Bobby Peirce had a leadoff homer in the seventh to put the Tigers on the board.
Stovall’s fifth hit was a two-run single in the ninth that made the final 11-1.
Turner and Lanzilli both had three hits, two runs and three RBI for the Hogs.
“My first thought is just an exceptional group of people that make up Auburn, especially this baseball team,” Auburn head coach Butch Thompson said. “I didn’t want this ride to end. I enjoyed getting up every morning and being fortunate enough to be with this group.”
Arkansas must beat Ole Miss on Wednesday and Thursday to advance to the CWS Championship Series.
