Stanford Super Regional: No. 2 Stanford 10, UConn 5

Kody Huff had a grand slam to cap a six-run fourth as Stanford rallied past UConn to return to the College World Series. Ben Huber had a three-run double in the top of the first as the Huskies (50-16) took the early lead. Brett Barrera had a sacrifice fly and Huff (3 for 4) added an RBI double in the bottom of the frame as the Cardinal (47-16) pulled within one at 3-2. Adam Crampton had a two-run single in the fourth to put Stanford on top before the blast by Huff made it 8-3. Tommy Troy (4 for 5) homered an inning later to push the Cardinal lead to 9-3. A dinger by Zach Bushling in the sixth pulled the Huskies within five at 9-4. Braden Montgomery added a sacrifice fly in the seventh as Stanford increased its lead to 10-4. T.C. Simmons had an RBI double in the ninth for UConn to make the final 10-5. Drew Dowd took over on the mound for the Cardinal in the first and tossed three scoreless innings with three hits, three walks and one strikeout. Ryan Bruno (6-1, 3 IP, H, R, BB, 3 K) earned the win, while Quinn Mathews (3 IP, 4 H, R, BB, 4 K) recorded his ninth save.

Corvallis Super Regional: Auburn 4, No. 3 Oregon State 3

Sonny DiChiara had a two-run homer and scored twice, and Blake Burkhalter fanned five of the final eight hitters, as Auburn edged OSU to earn the final spot in the College World Series. DiChiara smacked a two-run dinger in the third for the Tigers (42-20) to start the scoring. Justin Boyd (3 for 5) tripled and scored on a groundout in the bottom of the third for the Beavers (48-18) to make it 2-1. DiChiara walked and scored on an error in the sixth, while Bobby Pierce doubled and came home on a safety squeeze by Brody Moore as Auburn took a 4-1 advantage. Boyd belted a two-run homer in the seventh as OSU pulled within one at 4-3.  Burkhalter entered with two on and one away in the seventh, but a pair of strikeouts ended the threat. He retired the Beavers in order in both the eighth and ninth to earn his 15th save.
