Gainesville Regional – won by #4 USF
#4 USF 6, #3 South Alabama 4 (USA eliminated) (box score)

Jarrett Eaton had three hits and three RBI as USF edged USA to win the Gainesville Regional and earn its first Super Regional berth. Eaton had a two-run double in the fourth that tied the game at 2-2. His RBI single in the sixth put the Bulls (31-28) ahead for good. Orion Kerkering (5-3, 4.1 IP, 2 H, R, 2 BB, 5 K) earned the victory, while Joseph Sanchez pitched the final 1.2 innings with one hit, one run and one strikeout to notch his first save. Santi Montiel had a double, a homer, two walks and three runs, while Michael Sandle had two hits and two RBI for the Jaguars (36-22).

#3 South Alabama 4, #4 USF 0 (box score)

In the early game, Matt Boswell and Tyler Perez combined on a five-hit shutout as USA blanked USF. Boswell worked the first four frames with two hits, three walks and three strikeouts. Perez (1-1) pitched the final five innings with three hits, one walk and four punchouts. Hunter Stokes had a three-run homer in the third for the Jaguars. Riley Hogan had two hits with a double for the Bulls.

Eugene Regional – won by #3 LSU
#3 LSU 9, #1 Oregon 8 (Oregon eliminated) (box score)

Gavin Dugas went 2 for 3 with two homers, three runs and three RBI, and Drew Bianco went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI as LSU captured a spot in the Super Regionals by edging Oregon and pushed coach Paul Mainieri’s retirement from the dugout by at least another week. The Tigers (38-23) lost their Regional opener to Gonzaga and responded by winning four straight games, including the final two over the Ducks (39-16). After Bianco’s two-run homer gave LSU a 6-5 lead in the top of the sixth, Kenyon Yovan returned the favor with a two-run shot for a 7-6 Oregon lead. In the seventh, the Tigers tied it on Cade Beloso’s infield grounder and took the lead on a balk that allowed Cade Doughty (3 for 4, 2 runs) to score for an 8-7 lead. Jordan Thompson then singled in another run, which proved necessary as the Ducks scratched for one off Tigers ace Landon Marceaux, who pitched the final 2.1 innings with four hits, one earned run and two strikeouts to earn the win. Yovan finished with two runs and two RBI, and Aaron Zavala went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI for Oregon. It will be the 15th trip to the Super Regionals for LSU and ninth under Mainieri. The road Regional win was the first for the Tigers since 1989.

Fayetteville Regional – won by #1 Arkansas
#1 Arkansas 6, #2 Nebraska 2 (Nebraska eliminated) (box score)

Kevin Kopps tossed seven innings of scoreless relief and Charlie Welch delivered a pinch-hit three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth as Arkansas, the No. 1 national seed, survived against Nebraska. Kopps (12-0) allowed three hits, did not walk a batter, and struck out eight. Luke Roskam homered in the second and the Huskers (34-14) added a run in the third to take a 2-0 advantage. Casey Opitz went deep in the fifth and Robert Moore had a dinger in the sixth as the Razorbacks (49-11) tied the game. Arkansas loaded the bases in the eighth before Christian Franklin came home on a wild pitch to give the Hogs the lead. Welch put an exclamation point on the rally with his three-run homer to give the home team a 6-2 advantage.

Stanford Regional – won by #1 Stanford
#1 Stanford 11, #2 UC Irvine 8 (UCI eliminated) (box score)

Tim Tawa had a two-run homer and RBI single in a seven-run first as Stanford beat UCI to win the regional title. Tawa and leadoff hitter Eddie Park both had three hits, two runs and three RBI for the Cardinal (36-15). Jacob Palisch recorded the final out for his first save. Nathan Church went 4 for 6 with a double, a homer and four RBI for the Anteaters (43-18).

Starkville Regional – won by #1 Mississippi State
#1 Mississippi State 6, #3 Campbell 5 (CU eliminated) (box score)

After hitting an RBI double and scoring in the first, Kamren James belted a two-run homer in the third to erase a 3-2 deficit as MSU edged CU to win the regional title. Logan Tanner (2 for 5) also went deep for the Dawgs (43-15). Houston Harding (7-2, 3 H, 2 R, 2 BB) fanned 10 in five innings of relief to pick up the win. Landon Sims struck out four in three scoreless frames to record his ninth save. Spencer Packard (2 for 3) had a three-run homer in the first for the Camels (37-18).

Fort Worth Regional – won by #3 Dallas Baptist
#3 Dallas Baptist 8, #2 Oregon State 5 (OSU eliminated) (box score)

Andrew Benefield belted a grand slam in the seventh to put DBU on top for good in beating OSU to advance to the Super Regionals for the second time in program history. Troy Claunch had a sacrifice fly to spark a four-run third as the Beavers (37-24) built a 5-0 lead. Ryan Wrobleski had a two-run dinger in the sixth before Benefield’s blast put the Patriots (40-16) on top 6-5. River Town had a two-run homer in the eighth for insurance for DBU. Zane Russell (1-0) tossed 4.1 scoreless innings in relief with two hits, two walks and one strikeout to pick up the win. With runners on the corners, Dominic Hamel retired the final batter to record his first save.

Oxford Regional – won by #1 Ole Miss
#1 Ole Miss 12, #2 Southern Miss 9 (SM eliminated) (box score)

Ole Miss built a 9-0 lead after two innings in outscoring SM to take the regional title. Tim Elko (3 for 3, 2 BB, 3 R) homered twice and knocked in five for the Rebels (44-20). Reed Trimble (3 for 4) had two homers and four RBI for the Golden Eagles (40-21).
