LT Tolbert had two hits and two RBI, while Carlos Cortes homered and scored twice for the Gamecocks (8-7, 22-13). Josh Reagan (4-1, 2.0 IP, 2 H, K) won in relief of Adam Hill (6.0 IP, 4 H, R, 4 BB, 7 K). Ryan Gridley doubled twice and drove in one for the Bulldogs (10-5, 25-13).

West Virginia 5, No. 3 TCU 4

In Morgantown, W.Va., WVU used four walks and a hit batsman to score twice in thee bottom of the ninth to win its Big 12 series vs. TCU. Jackson Cramer (2 for 3, 2B, R, 3 RBI) drew a bases-loaded walk to force in the tying run in the ninth and a walk to Darius Hill plated the game-winner for the Mountaineers (8-4, 21-13). Jackson Sigman (1-2) pitched a hitless ninth to earn the victory. Connor Wanhanen went 3 for 3 with two RBI for the Horned Frogs (9-3, 28-7).

Florida State 7, No. 4 Clemson 3

In Tallahassee, Fla., FSU scored four in the first and three in the third in evening its ACC series with Clemson. Taylor Walls, Quincy Nieporte (1 for 4, 2 RBI) and Dylan Busby (2 for 4, 3 RBI) each homered for the Seminoles (8-9, 22-15). Tyler Holton (5-1, 8.0 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 3 BB, 9 K) recorded the win. Chase Pinder had two hits and two runs, while Seth Beer (2 for 2, 2 BB) went deep for the Tigers (14-3, 30-6).

NC State 4, No. 5 North Carolina 2

In Chapel Hill, N.C., Johnny Piedmonte tossed five scoreless innings in relief as NCSU avoided the ACC sweep at UNC. Piedmonte (3-0) allowed four hits with one walk and four strikeouts. Brock Deatherage (2 for 4, 2 R) homered for the Wolfpack (8-10, 20-17). Brian Miller (1 for 3) had a two-run homer for the Tar Heels (14-4, 29-7).

No. 14 Kentucky 6, Missouri 1

In Columbia, Mo., Justin Lewis allowed one run over five innings as UK won its SEC series at Mizzou. Lewis (5-2) gave up three hits and struck out four. Logan Salow tossed three scoreless innings with one hit and four strikeouts to record his eighth save. Marcus Carson drove in two, while Evan White had two hits and two runs for the Wildcats (10-5, 25-12). Brett Bond (2 for 4) homered for the Tigers (7-8, 26-11).

No. 19 Southern Miss 17, Rice 6

In Houston, Taylor Braley drove in five and Matthew Guidry knocked in four as Southern Miss won its C-USA series at Rice. Braley went 2 for 5 with a double, a homer and two runs, while Guidry was 3 for 4 with a homer and two runs. Colt Smith (2-0, 4.2 IP, 6 H, R, 2 BB, 2 K) earned the win in relief. Ford Proctor had three hits and two RBI for the Owls (4-11, 13-25).
