In Oxford, Miss., Cael Baker went 4 for 4 with two homers – including a two-run shot to break a 5-5 tie in the seventh inning – and four RBI as Ole Miss evened its series with Louisville. Tim Elko also homered and drove in two for the Rebels, who won a back-and-forth game with three runs in the seventh. Andrew Benefield and Henry Davis each had two hits and two RBI for the Cardinals.

Villanova 2, No. 6 Arizona State 1 (box score)

In Phoenix, Gordon Graceffo and Danny Wilkinson combined to limit Arizona State to three hits and one run, despite nine walks, as Villanova nipped the Sun Devils. Nick Lorusso had an infield grounder for an RBI as the Wildcats scored twice in the sixth. Spencer Torkelson hit a solo homer for ASU in the bottom half of the inning to cap the scoring.

No. 5 Georgia 9, Richmond 3 (box score)

In Athens, Ga., Tucker Bradley went 3 for 4 with a homer and three RBI, and Cam Shepherd went 3 for 5 with two runs and three RBI as Georgia coasted past Richmond. Ben Anderson went 3 for 4 with four runs as the Bulldogs’ top three hitters combined to go 9 for 12 with seven runs and six RBI. Johnny Hipsman had two of the Spiders’ six hits.

In Fayetteville, Ark., Matt Goodheart homered and drove in three, and Jacob Nesbit went 3 for 5 with two RBI as Arkansas eased past Eastern Illinois. Braydon Webb went 2 for 4 with a solo homer and two runs in support of Patrick Wicklander, who tossed five scoreless innings with three hits and seven strikeouts.

In Starkville, Miss., Kamren James went 2 for 3 with a two-run double in the first, and Logan Tanner went 3 for 4 with a solo homer and two RBI as Mississippi State beat Wright State for the second straight day. Christian McLeod worked five innings with one hit and 11 strikeouts for the Bulldogs.

In the first game, Alex Milazzo had three RBI out of the eight-hole, and Hal Hughes contributed two RBI out of the nine-hole as LSU held off the Hoosiers.
