Stillings
tossed a no-hitter Friday in a 1-0 Mid-American Conference victory at Toledo,
the leader in the West Division. Stillings did not walk a batter and he struck
out nine. Only two Rockets reached base, one on an error and one was hit by a
pitch. The right-hander became the ninth pitcher in school history to throw a
no-hitter. Stillings raised his overall record to 5-0 with a 2.89 ERA. Opponents
are hitting .188 against Stillings. He is 3-0 in conference contests.

Trevor Knight (Charlottesville, Va.)

Knight helped lead the
Dukes to a 3-2 week by going 12 for 25 (.600) with one double, two triples, four
homers, 12 runs and 13 RBI. His on-base percentage was .615 and his slugging
percentage was 1.280. Knight had multiple RBI in all five games and at least two
runs in four of five contests. Knight made his first collegiate start on the
mound on Sunday, allowing three singles in six shutout innings with six
strikeouts in a 12-1 CAA win at VCU.
Southeast
Chris Dwyer (Swampscott, Mass.)

Dwyer pitched a
complete-game two-hitter and struck out a career-high 10 batters in a 9-1
victory over No. 7 Miami (Fla.) in the second game of a Saturday ACC
doubleheader. The left-hander allowed just two runners past first base and one
batter past second. Dwyer allowed one run and walked four. Dwyer raised his
record to 4-2. His ERA is 4.40 and opponents are hitting .210 against the
freshman.
Central
Juan Martinez (Bakersfield, Calif.)

Martinez went 13 for
22 (.591) in five games for the Golden Eagles with five home runs and 19 RBI. He
had eight runs, six walks and a steal. Martinez had a slugging percentage of
1.273. He had a two-run homer in the bottom of the 10th to defeat UTA 9-7.
Martinez had a game-winning single in the bottom of the 10th in an 8-7 Summit
win over South Dakota State. He had two-homer games against Dallas Baptist and
in the opener of Saturday’s doubleheader vs. SDSU.
West
Tyler Pill (Covina, Calif.)

Pill pitched a
complete-game one-hit shutout in a Big West win at Cal State Northridge. The
right-hander walked one and struck out eight. Pill faced two over the minimum,
as one Matador reached on a wild pitch after a strikeout and one walked. Pill
tossed six hitless innings before T.S. Reed had a leadoff single. Reed was
subsequently erases on a double play. Pill did not record a three-ball count
until the ninth, when he surrendered his lone walk.
