Tracz Hired as Head Coach at
Marist
Former
pitcher and pitching coach Chris Tracz (left) has been named
head coach at Marist.
Tracz was a standout hurler for the Red Foxes
from 2001-05 and holds the school’s career records for
victories, strikeouts, complete games, starts and innings
pitched.
At the conclusion of his playing career, Tracz
became the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for Marist
from 2006-08.
This past season, Tracz was the pitching coach at
Army. He helped the Black Knights win the regular season and
tournament titles in the Patriot League. Army advanced to the
finals of the Austin Regional before falling to host Texas, the
No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Tracz replaces Dennis Healy, who resigned to
become pitching coach at Wake Forest.
