Thibodeaux promoted to head
coach at Nicholls
Seth
Thibodeaux has been promoted to head coach at Nicholls State
University.
The associate head coach, Thibodeaux has been
with the Colonels for the past three years and replaces Chip
Durham. A native of Church Point, La., Thibodeaux has been
recruiting coordinator, hitting coach and infield coach at
Nicholls.
Prior to his arrival at Nicholls, Thibodeaux was
an assistant at Southeastern Louisiana for two seasons. He also
coached at Pearl River Community College.
Thibodeaux
played two years at LSU-Eunice before transferring to William
Carey College and earning a degree in physical education.
Following graduation, Thibodeaux played one season of
professional baseball with the Baton Rouge Riverbats of the
independent South East Professional Baseball League.
The Colonels were 27-29 this past season,
including 15-18 in the Southland Conference.
